GO FISH REVIEWS
Spectacular fish and chips and other delicacies (fish tacos and burgers) at this modest shack near Granville Island. The cod is fresh and super tasty, perfectly cooked! The chips (French fries) are excellent, the tuna taco is worth a trip. With CAD 10 per person you eat like a king. Best food in a long time! The service is super friendly. The accommodation is a bit rustic but hey… you can take the goodies out and eat it in your own castle!
The captain of our zodiac boat trip recommended Go Fish! for lunch and told us that it was one of the best places to get fish and chips. He was right. It's basically a shack that you walk up to and put in your order. Nothing fancy. Simple and really good. We found a table by the side of the restaurant so we could look over the bay.
Outside seating only with a great view of the bay, fishing boats and the Vancouver skyline. Gets very busy during lunch hours. However the fish and chips are great, very crispy. I ordered 2 piece cod and chips and it was enough for my partner and I. For fish and chip places in metro vancouver, this is one of the better places.

WINDJAMMER RESTAURANT REVIEWS
We just ate here and ended up getting the 2 piece Fried Halibut and I got sweet potato fries and hubby regular fries. Omg so good and the fish was fresh and flakey, cooked to perfection. We could not finish all our food there was so much. I would highly recommend. This was the regular dinner portion. We opted not to get the special as they said the portions were smaller.
Wow! What a nice surprise. Must’ve walked by hundreds of times and thought I’d give it a try finally. We had the salmon burger and halibut fish’n’chips. One of the best! The coleslaw is light, without mayonnaise. Will be back.

THE SEA HOUSE FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS
A great unassuming fish and chips place that my husband and I happened to come across. The interior is pretty basic and nothing to write home about, but the food was delicious and service quick. I got the halibut which was fried to perfection - crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside. The fries and coleslaw were also fantastic though I would’ve liked a bit more slaw because it was so good. Husband got the regular fish (we’re assuming cod) which was also delicious and cheaper than halibut. He got the chowder with his combo which lacked salt but was an easy fix and would be good for those trying to be mindful of their salt intake. We were the only customers for a while on a Tuesday at lunch so you wouldn’t have to wait long if you’re in a rush. We will definitely be back!
Stunned by the hospitality of the aged owner from Hong Kong, reminds me of those family-own chippy in London, UK (always forget there’s London in Canada). The hand cut chips are sooo great and sadly no fresh halibut until summer. Batter is thin and just right. And they have malt vinegar! If there’s HP sauce I would be more than delighted. Will definitely come back and chat with them.
A great low key small local restaurant for my craving for fish and chips. Haha. They only take cash, but the amount and quality of food is phenomenal. One order of 2-piece fish and chips is only about $8. We had a full table of food for only $39. Lovely Cantonese speaking ladies always smile and say thanks. Will definitely come back.
