My wife and I come here regularly as a way to get fresh items and closer to homemade items. All the baked good are very welcome and very fresh. The family premade meals are a great option for those nights you just don't feel like cooking or simply better than take out. And their individual meals are far beyond those frozen TV dinners or the like. We also find they have a very decent selection of deserts. And as a bonus, the prices are very good. Shop local, it's well worth it.

As an advanced age Senior I went into Mitchell's for the first time on a recommendation from yellow Pages. I was amazed at the variety and quality of the product. I can recommend the prepared foods to go and several of the other products. This is establishment has extremely good quality.

Great little store with many jams and other local products. Wide backery selection and hot food for takeout available as well. Easy parking right in front.

This was my first time coming here a definitely won’t be my last! I absolutely love the fresh baked goods I got the Cream horn and Portuguese tarts and cannolis and I have to say was the best cream horn I’ve tried! And I’m not one for cannolis but someone said it depends on who makes it and they were right!! I recommend this place I also got peach jam and vanilla wafer rolls which I can’t find anywhere!! I drove down from milton to try these and was def worth it!!

Wow, WHAT A SUB! We had an 8" and 12" oven roasted turkey with the works. It reminded me of subs I used to get as a kid. The turkey was sliced fresh and heaped on. The bun was super fresh, too, and very soft. Highly recommend.

So glad this is in my town! The kind lady behind the counter helped us find the right cheese and even recommended some lovely pork fat to cook with our scrambled eggs in the morning. Support your local bakery!

So happy we have this gluten-free, dairy-free option in town! We get breads and desserts here every time we host vegan guests and guests with dietary restrictions. We've loved everything we've tried on the menu! Seriously the best gluten-free bread I've ever had. The service is also great - everyone there seems to love what they're doing.

Almond torte/glazed donut/crueller and pierogi buns were absolutely amazing. 10000/10. I personally wasn’t a fan of the cin buns or cookies but my husband enjoyed them. I would 100% visit again and recommend to everyone! P.s. I didn’t realise that everything was also dairy free until after the fact haha. You can barely tell the difference!! Can’t wait to be back in Ontario again to try some other bits and bobs.

Amazing!! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The absolute best gluten AND dairy free sweets and bread I’ve ever had. With my allergies dessert and breads are hard and this was a top tier experience. Couldn’t recommend more.
