I brought my 6-month-old DDR German Shepherd, Duke, to The Luxe Canine Club because he was a heavy leash puller and starting to show some slight reactivity on our walks. From the initial assessment, Brent put my mind at ease and assured me that we could easily correct the pulling. Within 20 minutes of working together, Brent taught me the right tools and specific leash commands to address the behavior. The difference was night and day. Since that very first session, I haven’t had an issue with leash pulling at all. I also attended the Foundations course, which was invaluable for solidifying Duke.

We chose to train with Brent at Luxe Canine formerly AgapiK9. We have used them in the past with our Golden. Brent is a great trainer. He was able to help our son train his husky. Fiona is a true husky. Chatty and stubborn but she did so amazing in the training. Tim has learned so much and is working every day to keep up what Brent has been teaching him. We have noticed such a big difference in Fiona. I can't believe how quickly she has taken to the skills Brent is teaching. Thank you so much. - Robert Slade.

We had a great experience with K9 Training and highly recommend their services. Jeremy was incredibly friendly, professional, and effective with his training methods. He used techniques that worked very well for our dog, and we noticed positive results throughout the training process. One of the things that impressed us the most was seeing how well-disciplined Jeremy's own dog is. Watching his dog respond immediately and consistently to every instruction gave us confidence in Jeremy's knowledge and training approach. My rottie, Whiskey, and I are entering our third one-on-one training session with Jeremy. May I just say that Melanie Chin is all the things canine and then some. Her thorough understanding, powers of perception and assessment acumen are all so spot on. I had the in-home meet and greet just two weeks ago with her. She is so generous with her knowledge and expertise. My two-year old boxer-lab-shepherd mix (75lbs) and I had a training session for one hour the week after and I have to say, the results are incredible. My dog has shifted in such a positive way. Now when we meet up with another dog (no lunging, barking) he looks at me right away when he sees another dog and that was just after a single hour with Melanie that this was achieved. I have worked with him daily on this since I learned what to do and what not to do. So, if you are on the fence about your dogs reactivity— please don’t be as Melanie will help you understand and address the behaviours in no time and will provide you the tools that you need for assured success for you and your best friend. Honestly please call her now. You will so happy you did.

I called Melanie for help with a newly adopted street dog from Korea. Boy am I glad I did! I was on the brink of returning him because I just didn't feel equipt to deal with his behaviour. She gave me such amazing information and skills that within a week of applying her techniques I felt like "I can do this"!!! Melanie has great insights and natural ability , plus she made it fun!!
