K9SIDEKIX REVIEWS
Our newly rescued Australian Cattle Dog, Oliver, became extremely fear reactive to strangers, especially those coming to our house. Nick helped us with private lessons at our home, and around town, showing us several training techniques and tools to improve his fearfulness, but also for basic obedience. Even had advice on nutrition! Our last session was being able to walk through town, manoeuvring through people and noises and patios, and Oliver was impressively calm and relaxed, able to sit, down and heel with a lot of distractions. I would highly recommend Nick, even for difficult dogs, as mine was pretty tough at the start. I will use him again for any further training I want to do.
Nick went above and beyond for our girl Indy during her 2 week B&T program. Not only did he train her to be a well rounded dog, he also loved and cared for her as if she were his own. Indy was a terrified 5 month old Belgian Malinois puppy when we adopted her. It was hard to take her to public places or go for walks without her becoming very reactive towards people and other dogs. Through lots of love and patience she finally began to come out of her shell - Nick was the icing on the cake. He took her training to a whole other level and now we have a very well behaved, calm, happy 10 month old puppy. She can now spend the rest of her life enjoying all the world has to offer instead of being terrified of it. Thank you Nick for giving us this new found freedom. Totally worth every penny!!!
Maverick completed a one week board and train with Nick recently and my only regret is not doing it sooner. He use to pull on walks, and jump on people, and react to other dogs, so I was always afraid to let him off leash. In one week, he learned to walk heel with no leash and is doing great with recall. I’ve been able to take him to the park to play with other dogs and have some fun. Even managed to have him join my family on a patio for lunch with no issues, which I never would have attempted before. So nice that he has learned some manners and I feel confident enough to bring him more places with us. He gets more exercise now, and is calmer and happier at home as a result. Can’t thank you enough, Nick!

AGAPIK9 REVIEWS
Six years ago, I brought my German Shepherd puppy at Agapi K9 (formerly Olympus). My puppy and I learned a lot during our training sessions at Olympus. I consider the dog training at Olympus (Agapi K9) as a standard for dog training. I registered my new German Shepherd puppy in a different training facility and was expecting a training like Olympus’ training standard. I was disappointed at the training that my puppy and I got. My puppy is more interested in watching the other puppies than following the trainers. I contacted Agapi K9 and asked if Debbie is still doing the dog training. After I was informed that she is still doing the dog training, I registered my puppy right away. Our first session was this evening, my puppy paid attention to our training session and looked into my eyes for the next commands/steps. I know that after we complete our training sessions at Agapi K9 that my puppy will be a well-trained and well-behave puppy. It is worth the once a week drive to Amaranth!
I came to AgapiK9 for their free puppy evaluation and the team took their time to understand what I was looking for in my puppy and gave me some tips and tricks well before I even paid for a class. My pup (5 months) has finished his puppy training and is nearly finished with Obedience Level 1 and the training has been fantastic. I have received numerous compliments regarding how calm my dog is (for his age) whenever we're out in public. Another added benefit is that the team is always happy to help you train your dog for specific behaviour issues outside of what has already been planned in the training module for the day. If you're looking to set yourself up for success, this is definitely the place to visit.
This is an amazing place to take your dogs! I took my 9 month old Bassett hound here for training and OH MY what a difference this has made in our life. Not only has my puppy learned so much in 8 weeks, but so have I! Joel, Deb, and Tina are absolutely awesome trainers!! If you are looking for a good place for obedience training, you just found it.
Brought my 3 year old German Shepherd to Agapi because he was still pulling and lunging at other dogs. He was trained with the prong collar and e-collar at other facilities however my boy was still not confident. After 1 group lesson with An, I had confidence to remove the e-collar, replacing it with a simple slip leash command!!!! Zeus responded without resistance……No more hurting my boy just to control him. An is knowledgeable, kind, and respectful to dogs and their owners. After trying 3 facilities, I finally found the right fit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAPI. Zeus and I look forward to working with An - JoAnne S

PUPPYTAILS TRAINING & TTOUCH FOR ANIMALS INC REVIEWS
We have learned so incredibly much to get our adopted puppy step by step over his fear and shyness. Shamus came such a long way but Sue was so patient, helpful and enriching for us. Besides instructive, it was most of all fun to spend time with your dog and learn a lot of things. Sue has a big sense of humor which is helpful to understand dogs behavior.
Sue is wonderful. We took our two dogs coco and teddy. She did an amazing job with them both. Thanks again, you are still going strong after all these years. Yours truly Bonnie Colborne. Coco and teddy mom.
Great place to train a puppy. I highly recommended it.
