HALIBUT HOUSE FISH & CHIPS AJAX REVIEWS

After seeing Halibut House the last two times I was in town, I tried it today. The location wasn’t busy; there were only two other people when I came in and one other person came in to place a to-go order while I was there. I ordered the special, one piece with chips and coleslaw. The food was tasty—I appreciate the coleslaw especially. The service was friendly and quick, portion sizes are huge for the price, and it’s conveniently located.

We ordered House specials... Halibut and Haddock... tastes amazing...food amount is best...and the customer service is top notch.

Really good fish and chips...lived in ajax for 6 years, but this is the first time I'm visiting. Price is worth it for the fish and they even let you know where the fish comes from.

BALMORAL FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

Ordered the platter with fish, chips, shrimp, and scallops. Good price, delicious food, best fish and chips I've had outside a pub in years, and I've tried almost every fish and chips place in the area. Definitely good portion size, food was still hot when I got it thanks to the care with which it was packages. You can taste that they use good, clean oil to fry with, the fish tastes fresh and it nice and thick, the scallops and shrimp were also a really good size. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Ordered the grouper and chips. It was ok. The fries(aka chips) were well done. Wasn't over cooked. Never had grouper like this before. Staff is friendly. Place is nicely decorated.

We have been going to Balmoral Fish & Chips for years. We usually order two Halibut & one Chips for takeout for two of us to share. Always very tasty and good sized portions.

Ordered halibut w/ green salad. Fish was crispy and cooked very well. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will come back here again and try their other menu.
