Me and my parents and sister came all the way from northern Ireland to see family, I'm quite a fussy person, especially with food and me and my sister shared 5 chicken strips and chips and it was the best food I have ever tasted, when we walked in they gave us iced water because of how warm it was outside and the staff are super friendly. I'll definitely be planning my next visit to here. If you are looking for a fish and chips place this is the best quality ever and I truly recommend this place.

Had a nice 2 peice cod lunch . Efficient service fresh fish large fries and coleslaw. Halibut is now out of my price range though.

Visiting from Winnipeg and walked past the place and decided to try as soon as I saw all you can eat. It was so good.

Delicious! This place is a gem and is a must visit! I’m always wary about fish and chips because it can be a hit or miss but these were SO GOOD! The price was good for what you get and it was so fresh! The chips were so so fresh and we enjoyed every last bit! The outside was crispy and the batter was not soggy at all and didn’t interfere with the nicely cooked fish inside. There is limited seating, so be prepared to take to go or wait for seating. Tables are max 4 people and it’s warm sitting inside if it’s a warm day, but just adds to the homey atmosphere! Which I love and really enjoy. The lady at the shop was very nice to us, cleaned up very fast after tables and even gave us boxes when we couldn’t finish our meal. Couldn’t ask for better service! She was one hard worker.

Oh my goodness! First time I've ever been, and it was extremely good. Reminded me of Spanish Banks and Lumberman's Arch fish & chips when I was a child. It has been many years since I've enjoyed fish & chips like that! My eyes watered with memories. Thank you. Will be in Kelowna again in two months. Will see you then.

Just need to send a shout out to the wonderful staff at this fish and chips restaurant. They're super busy but still remain happy and chipper. The food was delicious, as usual . Best value for money in this day and age. Just like Merry olde England.

BROKEN ANCHOR CAFE AND CATERING REVIEWS

This is one of my favourite hidden gems in Kelowna. I don’t normally eat seafood or much fish. But this place changed that for me. The fish they bring in is so fresh and of such high quality. The batter is so thin and crispy. It’s also gluten free. The cod and halibut are my favourites. The tartar sauce is amazing. The coleslaw is one of my favs also. The service is excellent. They also serve wine and beers and cocktails. The happy hour has many great choices. A definite must try in Kelowna.

Such a great find! We had the crab cakes, oysters, halibut fish and chips and fish stew and all of it was delicious! The fish and chips and tempura battered making it lighter than beet batter which really showcases the fish. Also, their whole menu is almost all GF. Our server was also super friendly and bubbly.

The food here was delicious. We went specifically for the gluten free batters and dedicated gluten free fryers since I am celiac. Did not disappoint! The service was fantastic as well.
