APPLEWOOD FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

One of the hidden gems in the GTA for Fish and Chips. I drive 40 minutes from home just to come here for their Halibut and Chips. The fish is cooked perfectly and super flaky. The menu is also kid friendly, my picky picks ate chicken/fries and clams/fries - both with an empty plate at the end. A definite must try if you are in the area.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and delicious food. Applewood Fish and Chips is always my first pick when I'm in the mood for fish and chips.

Family owned and operated. The best Fish&Chips this side of the big pond. I've had Fish&Chips in England and my wife is Scottish and we both agree that this is the closest in appearance and especially taste, as you'll be lucky enough to find anywhere. Just go here and you'll thank me... everything shouts mighty fine Fish&Chips.

Ordered fish & chips on Good Friday! They only serve 1 kind of fish given how busy the day was - but they food was cooked fresh, nice and crispy, and a decent wait time considering how busy it was. Always friendly customer service.

Great home-style kitchen serving up delicious fish and chips. Serving sizes are good and the taste is great, would highly recommend and I can’t wait to return.

Traditional British style fish and chips, the decor iOS the same. Very clean and friendly staff. Purchased the #3 family meal. 4 large pieces of haddock 3 chip and a large coleslaw. This can serve 4 people. Golden brown and fries are double fried so crispy abs soft inside.

HENRY'S FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

This is absolutely an amazing fish and chips spot. The pricing is completely unbeatable, the haddock and chips is $10 while everywhere else is at least $17. They are so generous with the portions as well, the owner had to tape the box to close it. For that price you expect the food to not taste that great but the food is fresh, the fish is giant, tender and super crispy. The owner is so nice as well, she’s so sweet, I wish her nothing but the best.

Such an underrated gem in Mississauga. While unassuming from the outside, they offer great prices for the food with everything being freshly made. The couple that runs it is so sweet and incredibly considerate so I love coming here! Upon hearing that we were going to eat in the car, they offered us small boxes so it wouldn’t be messy. Just a great place overall!

Cod and chips were excellent. I would 10/10 recommend paying the $2 to upgrade the fries to a poutine. It is definitely worth every penny. Also don't forget to add the cajun seasoning onto the fries, makes it taste super delicious.
