The park is beside a lovely lake in Granby, with astonishing views. The Boivin Lake ice rink is 1 kilometre long and 30 meters wide, accommodating 1,000 people on the weekend. The Skaters Cottage can serve 400 people and offers skate rental and sharpening services. Parc Daniel-Johnson also has many tables for picnics, which are spacious and well taken care of. The park is a popular recreational spot that incorporates beaches, tennis courts, and playgrounds, all under the canopy of mature trees. The park has a big playground for kids and a nice splash pad where the little ones can have fun. Parc Daniel-Johnson has a couple of sand volleyball courts.
