4330 River Road, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 6T2

The Boardwalk beside the rapids is 305 metres (1,000 feet or ΒΌ mile) and stairs lead to two observation areas at the edge of the River - They will ride an elevator down 70 meters then walk along a tunnel that is 73 meters long

We only did the White Water Walk because it was one of the experiences included in the Adventure Pass we had purchased. SO GLAD we did!! It was amazing to be so close to some of the most powerful and dangerous rapids in the world. The boardwalk is easy to navigate and there are plenty of photo ops. We went early in the morning with our coffees, we took the WEGO bus (also included in our passes) and it was just an all around wonderful experience.

Walking, Trail Running, Hiking Trails, Nature and Wildlife Areas, Outdoor Activities, River, Picnic Area, Rock Formations, Nature & Parks

Located deep in the Niagara Gorge, stairways lead to 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) of rugged paths that wind through this pristine pocket of Carolinian Forest, past prehistoric geological formations, wild flora and fauna

Mon - Sun 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

We paid to park in the lot, which there was plenty of spaces. We got here early in the morning. Our kids are ages 5,7,9, and 11. They all really enjoyed the hike, and loved taking turns leading the way. Some of the paths were difficult to follow, but we managed to make our way through the trails. Sometimes we made wrong turns, but we could backtrack and get back on the path. The scenery was beautiful, and we all had a lot of fun. We hiked for over three hours and would recommend these hiking.

Mon - Sun 9:00 am - Dusk

The first time I went to Heartland Forest with my husband I had to take my scooter. The trails were well groomed and I could use scooter without any difficulty. These trails are perfect for people in wheelchairs as well. There are benches throughout as well. The statues and learning centers make it an interesting outing. The second time, I was using my cane and still had a fairly easy time of it. I really enjoy my outings there, and hope to continue to visit.
