Les Sherman Park is an urban green space offering ball fields, a batting cage, and a hiking/biking trail. It has several parks and picnic sites which are accessible for all visitors and residents. It has a bike path that runs through the park. The trails are excellent for cycling, walking and other recreational activities. You can find some benches to take a break. There is a playground for the kids to play with slid, swings, and more. There are some pieces of art around. There are three ball diamonds, soccer field and offers free parking. It is the best place to see a variety of shorebirds and warblers. Les Sherman Park is a great park with lush grass and has a lot of open space.

McKell Wascana Conservation Park is an award-winning 171-acre park is dedicated to the restoration and conservation of native prairie and flood plain habitat. It has four kilometres of interpreted nature trails, a floating dock, birdwatching opportunities, educational programs. It is home to some of the most remarkable biking and walking trails. The park features a wide-open nature path and ponds/creek. If you get close to the water, you can able to see snails and minnows. It offers free parking. McKell Wascana Conservation Park has wonderful scenery and an amazing aroma from the natural greenery.
