“Moulin Grenier landmark has been listed as a historic building since 1975. François Grenier built the historic building in 1820. This windmill, classified as a historical monument, is now open to the public. After having belonged to the Grenier family for more than 80 years, the mill passed into the hands of the Lebeau family. The City of Repentigny owns the Grenier mill and has done significant restorations while retaining most of its original parts. The construction cost an old course of 3,000 francs (today around $500). Moulin Grenier offers an interactive, guided tour of the heritage. The landmark is famous for its permanent exhibitions. In addition, free outdoor parking is available. Moulin Grenier also offers free admission.”
