“Dr. Meenal Agarwal graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2008 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She completed an internship at Parkland Health and Hospital in Dallas, Texas, gaining expertise in managing ocular diseases, low vision, and contact lenses. Dr. Agarwal received the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award for her outstanding care of low-vision patients in 2009 and was featured in "Women in Optometry" magazine. Dr. Agarwal stays updated on advancements in optometry to serve her patients better. She is an Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) member and advocates for comprehensive eye exams and improved eye care. Dr. Agarwal specializes in Laser Vision Correction (Lasik) and was the Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers in Toronto. She also excels in fitting complicated contact lenses like Rigid Gas Permeable and Scleral lenses. Dr. Agarwal is dedicated to slowing down nearsightedness (Myopia) in children and has completed specialized training in Myopia Management.
