Dr. Ryan Coughlin's research focal points encompass the domains of surgical education and simulation training. He developed the first ever validated low-fidelity arthroscopic simulator designed to train and assess basic surgical skills. Moreover, Dr. Coughlin's clinical research endeavours revolve around evidence-based practices pertinent to youthful hip conditions, such as femoroacetabular impingement and addressing the prevalent knee, shoulder, and elbow issues among athletes.
