Dr Van Zyl repaired my 16 year old daughter’s knee in August this year ACL and meniscus. He was incredibly amazing with her. Super quick to get appointments and her knee 16 weeks later so far looks fabulous. Only complaint is getting through the phone line they should have an answering machine other then that we are very happy with him great with kids great bedside manners.

I was very impressed with Dr. Van Zyl and his staff. They were professional and the surgery went very well. My ankle that had surgery is better then my other ankle. Thank you Dr. Van Zyl.

Patient contact very good. Gave lots of important information regarding surgery. Made me feel like a person, not a number, funny. Follow-up great. Would refer to anyone.

DR. ROGER PURNELL - HERITAGE ORTHOPAEDIC GROUP REVIEWS

Dr. Roger Purnell is a top orthopedic surgeon who is widely recognized across the province by other doctors and health care professionals. I had surgeons and students at Vancouver General Hospital studying the work he did on me, and I'm very fortunate to be able to walk again due to his efforts. I had a shattered lower left leg (in 3 places) with a compound fracture, due to a bad motorcycle accident. It was a very complex injury. He did an amazing job of restoring the broken bones to their proper place and repairing the damage. I am expected to make a full recovery as a result, and I am very grateful to this prestigious doctor for his fantastic work. Every doctor and surgeon I met with spoke very highly of him and had great praise for his work and his abilities. They all said that I was very lucky to have him, and I have nothing but gratitude for the amazing job he did for me. He trains and educates other surgeons and students, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for saving my leg. He is truly an expert in his field.

I have had 3 procedures with Dr Purnell. A hand surgery, bone spurs removed from left heel and a total hip replacement over the last 3 years. Very efficient surgeon who’s highly skilled hands made each surgery hugely successful, infection free. And healed up beautifully. He literally took my last 2 years of pain completely away so that I can actually live a normal life. This was a game changer for me. For that I am so grateful to have had you as my surgeon and I am deeply indebted to you cause you gave me back life with happiness. Thank you so much.

Have had four procedures with Dr. Purnell. Amazing surgeon. Great follow up at cast clinic. Staff are excellent, We are fortunate to have him.

This doctor is the BEST! he rebuilt both my feet and I ride my horses walk and run! all the horror stories are abundant with foot surgery but right here in Prince George we have this amazing Orthopedic Doctor.
