3 Best Psychiatrists in Grande Prairie, AB

Never saw this man in person, but I feel like I have known him for a long time. I always look forward to my phone appointments with him. I have never had an idea how I have been my worst enemy all my life, blaming myself for everything that went wrong everywhere but also blaming others or things. Can’t believe I was making myself depressed and expected medications or other people to save me, fought constantly with my family members, hates some of them, but now I know, hates myself more. I am working with the DBT Skills Work Book every day, exercising every day, no medication and I got a new lease on life. I encourage everyone to look for help. It is been a life changer for me. Fists time I kept a job for two years, got my first promotion. Dr Beehere always tell be to be grateful and I first did not like that, but now I understand what he meant and have a gratitude diary. This was a copy our of the diary. I am grateful to the doctor and his Team, especially Tara Berry.

Finally, a psychiatrist who makes and encourages you to feel and be in charge of your treatment and does not push medication. I am doing much better with trauma informed therapy, he helped me in “my fight” against WCB too. Thank you, man.

If there was luck, it is Meeting a psychiatrist like Dr Berhe. He is like no other, he talked to you as if he has known you for ever and makes you feel you are someone a when it no longer feels that was because of deep depression and anxiety. Thank you.

Amazing doctor, he is a very good listener and helps me manage my mental illnesses. With his treatment I feel so much better over time.

Didnt know what was wrong with me my entire life. I had been to many doctor and psychartirist and none of them figured out anything. I spoke to him for a half hour and he knew right away my mental health issues and ive finally been diagnosed!!!!!!!!

I'm a new patient of his and was shocked to see that there was no mention of him here. So far, he has been great! He understood what was going on with me from the beginning, and was able to make sure I got the proper treatment; I have been misdiagnosed before, so I'm wary of psychiatrists in general. Overall, he is very kind, knows his stuff, and is willing to take into account how the patient feels about certain treatments and adjust accordingly. Very empathetic!

Dr. Lal is kind, informative and tentative. I had seen several other psychiatrists during my diagnosis of Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc... He was active in helping me to find a secure space for my children to learn about C-PTSD while discussing options outside of a simple prescription. I have nothing but praise for this man and how, in a single encounter, he can turn my doubts for actual help into a plethora of options for serenity and closure.

Imagine being on the wrong meds for 2yrs poisoned, scared and lost. This amazing man diagnosed me, gave me proper meds and finally I’m living my life again! Thank you Dr. Lal! I and my family are forever grateful!!
