This is my second visit to this location and I am surprised our first review here was not published: this place seems to follow the same pattern as you find anywhere in North America with the same calm atmosphere and mainly older people liking this place which is not busy during the week at lunch time. Excellent!!! We had the same waitress and ordered varieties of sea food we both like and this is the reason we always come to this place, getting in return their complimentary cheese biscuits and even re-fillers. As ever, I can never finish my meals and I was able to get a home pack which took me 2 days to finish. Most surely we will be back: we are great fans of this chain of restaurants.

Sharon is amazing!! She did such a great job with service and is such a jovial happy person. Will definitely be back and the shrimp your way garlic parm shrimps, island coconut shrimp, grilled shrimp, shrimp linguine we all delicious. And who can forget the biscuits.

First off. Margarita flights!! 3 delicious flavours that just tickle your taste buds. I don’t honestly prefer seafood, but they do have some options for those that done eat seafood. Their Cajun chicken Alfredo is to die for!! And the buns, how do you live life without them! Then having the fabulous waitress Sharron serving you for the evening. Not only does she know what she’s talking about, but she will also make you laugh and make your evening even more enjoyable! 10/10 need to check it out.

On the Lam is such a great place to have dinner. The vibes are 10/10 every single time. The waygu steak literally melts in your mouth & is totally worth the higher price point. If you’re looking for a super cozy intimate dinner date this is definitely the place to be. So much better than the keg. Love that it is local and they use locally sourced foods. The menu changes based on the season and what is available locally. The steak is cooked perfect every single time. The puffed potatoes are to die for. You won’t regret those.

Fancier than expected. Food was top notch. Didn't expect this in Brantford. Nice cocktails. Small menu with simple choices. Puffed potatoes are da bomb. Will go back for sure. Will wear a collared shirt next time. Lovely repurposed space with only few tables.

My friends and I had an absolutely amazing meal at On The Lam this past Thursday. We threw a birthday party (25+ people). The service was stellar, every drink I had was delicious and beautifully presented (White Linen, Espresso Martini). At my table we tried the Oysters (beautifully shucked and the cucumber mignonette was top), Baby Arugula salad (super refreshing), Potato Puffs (what dreams are made of), Fried Chicken (juicy and saucy), The charred peppers (perfect snack). As my main I ordered the 15oz Crusted Pork Chop (It was so good and HUGE that I felt obligated to share it) Overall, wonderful experience and I will definitely be back and recommending it to friends. Short drive from Hamilton and definitely worth it for the price, service and food quality.

Had a lovely evening at The Olde School Restaurant. The atmosphere is truly something special — full of charm and character, with a live piano player adding a classy, nostalgic touch to the experience. The authenticity of the setting really stands out and makes for a memorable visit. Service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As for the food, it was decent - about a 3 out of 5 in terms of taste and presentation. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite match the high-end pricing, which felt a bit steep for what we got. Overall, we came for the ambiance and service and weren’t disappointed. Would return for a special occasion or to enjoy the unique setting again, but I’d love to see the food quality elevated to better match the pricing.

My husband and I eloped yesterday and wanted to celebrate with a fancy dinner. We have always wanted to try this restaurant. We are so glad we chose this place. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and the place is just such a beautiful atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back and plan on celebrating future anniversaries here.

Lots of UK and Canadian memorabilia to look at while you eat some amazing food with great service. If was good enough for the Queen, you know you'll love it as well!
