3 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Vaughan, ON

We came to this gem earlier this year in April 2025. We were on a road trip and this was near our hotel on our way back home. We were craving sushi and checked out the menu online and we were excited to try this place. Being vegetarian, it makes this place that much better. The atmosphere when you walk in is very neat, a little pond at the front, the service was tremendous. Very friendly and prompt. When it came to the food, we thought it was very good. We left very happy and satisfied.

Tenon is AMAZING! The staff are sweet! This includes the chef who went out of their way to go out into the blizzard today because they were out of pineapple for my dish just to ensure it was made with care and love. The food is fantastic as always but I usually get take out. It was especially great to experience the dine in aspect of the restaurant as it is so peaceful, clean and cute.

I love this place - not only is everything vegan but the sushi is so fresh and the atmosphere is great.

Super clean, warm and welcoming! We had the Buddha Bowl w citron dressing, which was incredible! The fried chicken sandwich with spicy bbq sauce, super delicious, and the kids meals also hit the spot! Sadly I'm from out of town, but would highly recommend if you’re in the area! Food was fresh and flavourful! Thank you for the wonderful service!.

The popcorn chicken is pretty good, but the chocolate cake tastes like another brand that I’ve had before so I’d probably skip that again. I did notice that the branding is plant-based, but some items have egg so be careful if you do not eat eggs. The servers were chatting when we were seated and kind of forgot about us, so we had to wave them over as well, but other than that it’s a great place to visit for Asian-style vegetarian food.

Delicious vegan options! Highly satisfied with everything we ate. Even my non-veg husband enjoyed everything! Strongly recommend!.
