CITY CAFE BAKERY REVIEWS

I visited a charming little café today that felt like a step back in time. No AC, no tech—just a cozy, local vibe. You serve yourself, cut your own bagel , add your own toppings, and everything is super fresh. Prices are cheap, and the staff and customers are incredibly friendly. It’s cash only and feels like a true old-town gem. Simple, homey, and worth a visit!

Simply put: the best, most tasty, friendly food locale in KW. We live close by and visit whenever we can. We come for the delicious treats but we stay for the staff (like Robert and Karen), who always make us feel welcome. Thanks for being an essential hub of the Belmont-Victoria Park community!

It’s always nice to go and get your fresh baked goods and amazing coffee. They accept e transfers or cash . Amazing cozy place.

NOVA ERA BAKERY REVIEWS

My visit to Nova Bakery was truly wonderful. We savored delightful mochaccinos, lattes, and a variety of delicious tarts. The service was impressively swift, with our order ready in just 3-4 minutes. Prices are very reasonable. Ample parking is available at the back of the bakery, along with a convenient 2-hour parking option on the street. Inside, there's plenty of seating, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for its delicious baked goods and comfortable setting. They have lots of options for baked goods also.

Nova Era bakery has the most nicest staff and yummy pastries. They have gotten my family close and most sundays we buy some pastries and my family gathers up together and we eat and talk to eachother. I really recommend this place as a mom.

Everything I have ever tried from Nova Era has been a hit. The food is delicious, hearty and filling. Each time I have ordered the quality has been consistent and always great. Such a nice spot to get lunch, coffee and a sweet treat to go.

My favourite cafe in KW! I love their baked goods, breakfast platter, lentil soup and turkish tea. The atmosphere, staff and the owner are very friendly and caring, love talking to them! You can really see they love what they are doing. It is also very clean and cozy there, the place is well taken care of. Keep bringing my friends here to introduce them to the flavours I grew up with and love! The only issue sometimes is the lack of space there.

wow wow wow!!! A must visit if you are in the area...everything is so fresh and delish! We ended up ordering a bunch of things and also ended up taking some with me back to San Francisco...entire family loved it. Their bread is so fresh and makes their sandwiches so yummy! Their coffee and teas are perfect too! Loved the rose turkish delight...everything was perfection. Loved their hospitality too! Will definitely come back if I make it out there back again!

I recently visited Crushed Almond Bakery Cafe in the Kitchener area for the third time, and it remains one of my favorite spots. The cafe's cozy atmosphere always makes me feel welcome, and their simit sandwiches are a standout for me—they're simply delicious. However, I did notice a couple of areas for improvement. While the Turkish coffee was enjoyable, I believe it could be even better with a slight adjustment to its preparation. Similarly, the black tea seemed a bit over-brewed, which is a common issue. Despite these minor critiques, I still love this place and consider it my top choice for a cafe experience in the area.
