Went for breakfast with a group of us and a little child. Riley was absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good stuff about him. He took the time with us and was so sweet to my son. The place was amazing, reminds me of a little hole in the wall greasy spoon place. Food was okay, I wouldn’t order the breakfast yorkies again tho. But the big bowl of fruit I got after that was amazing! Riley was so good about the fact I didn’t like my meal, he was so apologetic about it, I felt horrible about it but he made me feel so good about it. I would definitely come here again, especially for the service. Every time I come back for breakfast I’d love to have Riley as my server!

This place is perfect for breakfast. Atmosphere is very 1960s diner and the service is perfect. My coffee never saw the bottom of its cup. Food was delicious. Is it a bit tight in there? Yeah. Get over it. That’s how diners are, when they are good. Photos I put up have the menu.

It's our first time in this diner and it's our new fave place now. We are definitely going back for other food options. We had their roast beef and it was so good. We also had caramel banana French toast and oh gosh they are so good. The service is also great. Thumbs up.

I recently tried De Dutch for the first time and had an amazing experience! The service was friendly and efficient, and our waitress was super delightful. She made us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere is a refreshing change from the usual breakfast chains. The menu has a unique variety of delicious options. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic breakfast or brunch!

Attentive service, great food. Had the salmon Benedict. Potatoes hash browns were soft yet crispy outside. Hollandais of course is well done.

The meals were freshly made and all were tasty!definitely recommend it.

BARB & ERNIE'S RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We went in at 11:30 and there was a line up out the door. Highly suggest coming early or after 12:30 as there were many more tables available at that time. The food was lovely! The hot cakes are HUGE. The French toast is served with whip cream and a berry mixture. The omelette was large and in charge, and the pork schnitzel had fantastic flavour. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience! The food was delicious, with gluten-free options available. The drinks were refreshing, and the service was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Came from out of town, amazing food. Huge portions, great coffee. Blows any breakfast chain out of the water. 50 years strong I hear!!
