MOODSWING CAFE / BAR REVIEWS
Moodswings is a gem of New Westminster. It has great atmosphere, with first class people and a great selection of items. You need to try their desert! They only have one desert on the menu because they need no other!
Very inviting atmosphere (mood lighting 10/10) with a cool layout/design. Friendly and helpful staff. Creative and yummy food and drink menu. Will definitely be back for when it’s a cafe in the day!
This place was incredible. Really fun and funny staff, I was there for the transition from the daytime (oldcrow coffee) to the evening (moodswing). The coffee was delicious then I had multiple cocktails which were all exquisite and so well executed and thought through. The pickles were mind blowing, wow, havent seen medlar pickles before. I had the dumplings which were so yummy and a burger, vegan, but it tasted like popeyes chicken!! Im glad they are running this program and yall should check it out and support it as they are hard working team!!

HIVE CAFE REVIEWS
One of the nicest coffee shops in New West. Love their smooth lattes and dacquoise treats which are gluten free. Service has always been great. This is a favourite stop on our walks through the downtown.
This cafe is in a convenient location to walk by the Quay and skytrain. Food and drinks are average The interior looks great. Weirdly, air conditioner wasn't on during a really hot day. Hopefully staff are okay. Good place for a quick drink and snack compared to the concession stand a few blocks away.
I recently visited Hive and was blown away by the quality of their coffee and their service. The staff are friendly, accommodating and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The coffee is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, full of flavour and perfectly balanced. And to top it off, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends or work remotely. I can’t recommend Hive enough - a fantastic experience all around.

CRAFT CAFE REVIEWS
I got their weekend special waffle, omg, it's so tasty and beautiful at less than $12! Waffle was exactly how I like it, moist & soft. I emptied my plate so fast, haha. My husband had their $6 egg sandwich, he also liked it very much. We both like our drink (iced tea latte & espresso). Nice ambiance cafe with both inside & outside tables. Fast service (you ordered and picked up your own food & drink though).
Went with mom an hour before their closing time on Sunday. There were no line up and lots of available tables to choose from. We are greeted warmly with smiles and welcoming vibe. Their washroom was also well maintained which is a big plus for me. Their matcha latte has a great taste of bitterness which I thought was a unique distinction compared to other cafes I went too. After sipping our drinks and eating our pastry roll, we went for a walk. So it's a plus that their location is just at the New Westminster Quay Boardwalk and it also closes a little bit late (8pm) on a Sunday schedule.
One of the best mocha I've had! Made with Thomas haas dark chocolate. Very friendly staff and great location. Would love to come back in the summer and try out some Cocktails.
