Cafe Pyrus

My bestie brought me to Cafe Pyrus and it's definitely one of our new favourite chill spots! The seating is cozy and well-spaced, the staff has always been kind and accommodating, and the menu has a good selection considering our many food sensitivities. Most recently we stopped by for a light lunch and loved the food. I was absolutely thrilled to be able to safely eat the soup of the day - they even had the full ingredient list ready at the register for easy reference! And when I asked about swapping out the side of toast (which I can not eat) for tomato slices instead, I was met with respect and was accommodated. I am very happy with Cafe Pyrus and absolutely recommend it if you're in the downtown Kitchener area!

Café Pyrus has been one of my favourite neighbourhood gems since I moved downtown. I’ve enjoyed every single thing I’ve ever ordered there. The only thing I like better than the vibe, yummy food and drinks is the strong values and integrity this business operates with (donating extra food to the soup kitchen - amazing!!!). Love this place.

This is the perfect spot for food and drinks for vegans! Their lattes are always a go to because their coffee bean is delicious. The space is big and open with plenty of seating.
