Mahtay Café & Lounge

Funky downtown coffee shop featuring an assortment of custom-made drinks and snacks. As a tea drinker, I found their London Fog to be the best I've ever had by far. The service was really friendly, and they have numerous loyal customers who stop by frequently. The whole back area was full of friends hanging out and chatting, people reading, and business people doing work. Clearly this is a "hub" for folks in downtown St. Catherine's, and with lots of different options here, and I'll be sure to stop by the next time I'm in town.

Amazing staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere. I have not once had an issue with anyone at this establishment, and all were kind and caring. I would recommend this café to anybody! I've watched them serve several less than ideal customers with more patience than they deserve. As someone in the customer service and creative industry, there's been a lot of negativity with how we don't bend over backwards, but every single one of the folks at Mahtay is such a hard worker and no one there deserves to be harassed as I've seen.

Mahtay is not only one of my favourite spots, it’s my favourite spot. Friendly, inclusive atmosphere, great food, and local art. Mahtay is THE SPOT for any group to hang out and have an awesome time night or day. I HIGHLY recommend any of their baked goods, which pair perfectly with their fair trade coffee. 11/10!
