3 Best Cakes in Richmond Hill, ON

I always purchase treats from Daan Go and they are always high quality and delicious. Yesterday, I purchased a couple of items on the website and was planning on getting it delivered to a family member. Through a comedy of errors, I made several mistakes (including the wrong address). I called Daan Go in Richmond Hill in a panic and Sabrina picked up my call. Sabrina ensured that the address was changed promptly, she kept on top of all the issues and called me regularly to provide updates. One of the items I purchased took 5 days to make (I did not realize) and Daan Go rushed the order for me in 1 day. Even though I made the errors, they provided OUTSTANDING customer service to resolve everything for me. I am so impressed. After all that, I apparently bought the items from the Scarborough location but Sabrina ensured all the instructions were relayed back to the Scarborough team. The Richmond Hill team went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you so much!

I always love ordering my cakes from here. Unlike the traditional western cakes at the grocery stores, daan go 24K mango mouse cake is velvety smooth with just the right amount of sweetness that does not over power your pallette. The cake is fresh, light, and more of a subtle sweet. Their macarons are just devine. Highly recommend their passionfruit, strawberry, tiramisu, blueberry, mango flavour. Not only are they super cute, they are absolutely heavenly.

Very delicious cakes… Actually they don’t have cakes.. They have pieces of art.. I highly recommend this place.. They also have point system.. it’s like $1 equals to 1 point.. and every 100 points gives you $7.5 to spend.. The cheesecake (cheese with the mice on top) was fantastic.

Celebrated a family birthday celebration (30ppl) in the private area of the restaurant. Eric (owner/ chef ) prepared the menu to accommodate our preferred dish ( prime rib roast) it was cooked to perfection and delicious. Every dish was also yummy!! Samantha, our friendly/efficient server was extremely attentive to our wants/needs. Thank you Eric/Samantha for your courteous service. We are very happy to have chosen Maxim for our family birthday gathering!

The best place for their almond meringue cake. We ordered the Hazelnut recently. And today ordered the mango meringue. I would echo other reviews and say the hazelnut is toooo sweet. Good but cant eat a lot of it. But any of the almond meringue cakes are always finished. I haven t eaten there in a long time, but theyve got an extensive menu.

You will LOVE their black forest cake. You can order right from their website and schedule a pickup time and date. The cake is so sumptuous, with REAL cherries (black), kirsch, and REAL whipped cream. We've had two from them now and everybody went NUTS!
