Frequently Asked Questions About Car Repair Shops in Lethbridge, Canada

Carefully selected questions to evaluate important aspects. Comparing the answers helps you choose the service provider that best suits your needs.

1. What steps do you follow when diagnosing electrical issues in vehicles?
Big Al's Auto Repair
Answer from BIG AL'S AUTO REPAIR
All electrical diagnosis starts with a battery and alternator test. Some issues involve using a scan tool to pull codes out of various modules and also monitoring data from those modules to see what input and output signals the modules are receiving and transmitting. Some electrical diagnosis is more straightforward and requires checking input and output signals to the actual components in question.

BIG AL'S AUTO REPAIR REVIEWS

I am always very skeptical about auto shops and mechanics. Worried they will Try to price gouge and squeeze extra dollars out of you. I had an incredible experience here. My car needed alot of love. They did a thorough inspection and told me every little thing that could be improved. I narrowed it down to what I thought was most important and within my budget. They never tried to up sell me on anything unnecessary and I felt the work I paid for was fair and transparent. This will be the only shop I use from now on.

Received awesome service today on very short notice. I was unable to pop my hood due to a cord being damaged and I was worried about getting windshield washer fluid in with a big snow melt happening. Shawn the owner looked at my vehicle, got the hood open, filled up my fluid and didn’t charge me anything. I was provided with a quote for the repair and I’ll definitely be coming back to have it done here. This is how trust is built. I’ll be a long time customer now.

10/10 Will forever be recommending this business to all those I know. High quality service, personable, and honest. Big Al’s have helped me diagnose my vehicle after no one else could. I also highly appreciate the time they take to answer any questions that arise. Bringing back a good name for mechanic work. Thank you!.
