Dr. Jean-Francois Roux holds the role of a cardiologist and electrophysiologist based at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke. He is a professor of medicine at the University of Sherbrooke and holds an adjunct professorship at McGill University. Dr. Roux completed his cardiology training at the University of Sherbrooke in 2005, followed by further specialization in cardiac electrophysiology at the Montreal Heart Institute. His pursuit of expertise led him to conclude an advanced cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. His professional focus revolves around clinical practice and research, particularly in treating atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia patients. Beyond this, he also shoulders the responsibility of program director for the internal medicine residency program at the University of Sherbrooke.
