“Dr. David Fortin graduated from Sherbrooke University in 1991. He then completed his specialized training in neuro-oncology in London, Ontario, and Portland, Oregon. He is clinically interested in therapeutic manipulations of the blood-brain barrier and has developed expertise in performing this type of procedure. Dr. David is a dedicated neuro-oncologist who offers patients standard and experimental treatments. He holds a researcher-clinician grant from the FRSQ and has also performed the first blood-brain barrier manipulation procedure to treat brain tumors in Canada. Dr. David Fortin has published a series of articles in neuro-oncology literature and has expertise in treating specific pathologies. He has to his credit more than 130 publications and 160 scientific abstracts. He has numerous conferences on the national and international scene. Dr. David Fortin speaks English and French.”
