When we adopted Sunny, she was our first puppy and we knew we all had a lot to learn. We're so glad we chose Dealing With Dogs as our training school and learning resource. We completed the Junior Puppy and Intermediate programs, and absolutely loved the classes, exercises, and the wonderful mentors. We all looked forward to our Tuesday evenings at DWD, and found that they helped us bond with our new puppy as she learned basic obedience and focus (even as she moved into her distraction-prone teenage phase). Thank you to Dealing with Dogs and all the amazing instructors. We have been coming for a year and a half with our Puppy Bella (black lab) and you guys have all been wonderful. We had the pleasure of having Margie and Linda twice in a row as instructors for our puppy classes and they were awesome. Margie was so positive and so supportive to my husband and I. I have had labs my whole life and I was worried Bella was not going to get where she needed to be when it came to commands.(she was beyond a handful) Margie never gave up on us, always had such wonderful things to say and not only told Bella she was doing a great job but reassured my husband and I that we were working hard and she was seeing the positive results all around. I wanted to say thank you, that the training works, scary experience getting ready to come up here. We were busy getting organized, we both lost track of Ozzy, and the next thing we knew he had dashed out into the middle of the road, Andrew raced out to stop the neighbours from backing out in their car, and in the cheeriest voice I could do, I called him and told him to come. He did! He raced over and I took him into the house. Lessons learned, but relieved that he responded so well. Many thanks.

BARK BUSTERS REVIEWS

We have loved our experience with Bark Busters so far and have been delighted with our progress after two sessions. Our dog was highly reactive while on walks and with people coming to the door but had been responding very well to the techniques Wil has taught us. As we were told, her success would be based on the work we put in, and it has been very motivating to see changes in our dog’s behaviour as we follow through with the training plan. We are very happy with Bark Busters training and excited about what’s ahead!

I was lucky to come across Bark Busters in my search for dog training. Wil has been wonderful to work with my frightened, aggressive little dog and myself. He has helped me communicate and show my dog I have his back. We are still in the process, but my boy is much calmer, listening to and respecting me. Looking forward to learning more learning.

We were at wit’s end with our 7-year-old Jack Russell’s behaviour when visitors came over. Thanks to Will, we were given the tools and confidence to deal with the issue. We now have a much calmer and more peaceful home, thanks to Bark Busters!

We have had Emmy our red standard poodle for 5 years and thought she’d enjoy a friend, so adopted a one year old named Ella. Ella came to us without much training or even exposure to living in a house and it was way more challenging to us to train a dog with established behaviors, on top of navigating introduction of a new dog to the house, and we wondered if we had bitten off more than we could ‘chew’. We found Sue and asked her to work with all of us in our home in a 6 week program in our own home. The difference has been remarkable and we are very grateful for Sue’s unique training program, flexible and gentle approach and her excellent tips and resources. Highly recommend.

Sue is an exceptional trainer. She cares about your fur baby and will use multiple techniques and methods to train, adjusting to the dog’s behavior. She was always on time and was accommodating when I had to change our scheduled sessions. Avery had fun and learned a lot. Thank you Sue!

We had a great experience with Sue! She was understanding and patient and really took the time to understand where Bentley needed extra attention and help. It is evident that she has a lot of experience with dogs, which was amazing as she was really able to help clarify certain behaviours. Overall, great experience!
