Had the haddock fish and chips. The fries were meh. I should l've asked for more coleslaw. The coleslaw was great. The fish was fried well. Good portion size and crispy. Their tar tar sauce was great as well. Would come back.

Casual restaurant. Very good portions. Halibut and chips were crispy, non-greasy. Fried Clams were good perfectly. Friendly staff. Free parking. Easy access.

Good service and the lady who attends is very kind, I will be your client in my stay here, the food is delicious, they make it with love.

CAPTAIN GEORGE'S FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

Initially wanna dine in to have the taste of freshly fried food but they only do takeout now probably because of Covid. The fish was so fresh with excellent texture. Halibut should be the most expensive and best one, however, I found the Cod is my favourite with the nice flaky texture. The Haddock was not bad with great flavourful fish taste. All the food was made to order, which was so fresh. Not only the fish was delicious, the chips were so yummy. I prefer these thicker fries that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good.

We ordered the family pack of Halibut and fries for pick up. The fish was great, tons of fries and the tartar sauce was really good. Overall I would rate this one of the best fish and chips we have had.

1 Feb 2024 updated : This is the Fish & Chips restaurant that I will come back again and again . Because of the pandemic , I haven't visited them for a long time. Their fish is so good , their special tartar sauce is good too . Before Christmas, I had ordered a party tray from them, it was so tasty that all my friends loved it so much. the " new" owners are very friendly and helpful, working very hard. I saw them at this store before the pandemic, their food and the service is much better than the " old " owner ! The following message was written a year ago : Me and my family love this restaurant for Fish & Chips. We like their fish and I think they are the best in Aurora.

Staff is friendly and fun. Food is prepared quickly and perfectly. Ideal spot for any meal. Every visit has been an excellent experience.

Food was fantastic and the service was timely and efficient. Both meals were cooked perfect and the dessert made it a great evening.

I live in Barrie, where there is also an awesome Wimpys. Anyway I had a lovely breakfast here, and Cindy the waitress made me laugh and took good care of my step-dad. Great food, great service, good prices.
