Got the halibut fish and chips to go. Drove home about 10 minutes and fish was still crispy and hot. Not greasy at all and the breading was fantastic. Fries were OK, they didnt stay as hot or crispy. Coleslaw was alright, but the best was the fish. Would come back again just for the fish and maybe try something else from the menu. Thank you to the owner for the extra piece, it was the perfect amount for the 3 of us.

Been going here for going on 3 years now. Haven't had a problem and food is always good. I'm at the point I walk in there to order and the gentleman working always knows what I get this place is great l. Great food and people.

It was my first time ordering from them and everything was delicious. Friendly service and was explained the specials. I ordered the large fish (8 Oz) and I have enough for another meal. I would recommend them and will be going back.

CHIPPIES REVIEWS

All you can eat fish was an amazing service. Haddock was big and melted in your mouth with a nice crispy deep fry, fries were steaming hot and the coleslaw was nice and creamy. Staff were so friendly, and inside was clean. Will most definitely be back again.

Delicious haddock very good portions. I've had fish and chips from all over southern Ontario and this one is definitely in my top five. Ate half this is the other half I barely was able to take a picture lol.

I have heard pretty good things about Chippies so decided to give them a try. Ordered Haddock two piece dinner and was served within 5 minutes. The food was fresh and delicious. Was very happy when they provided a squeeze bottle of tartar sauce, vs a little cup I find most other places offer (Thank you from the tartar lovers lol). The menu offers a wide range of options even if you don't enjoy fish. Service was fast and efficient even for being a bit busy. The atmosphere seemed nice, with simple decorations. Definitely suggest checking it out, as I'll definitely be returning.

Food here was great! Not greasy, done lightly but not too light. Prices were good and food is good. Not sure why this place isn't more busy. Especially with such a good price on breakfast.

We have been to three different Halibut House restaurants and have found the quality of food in the Brantford location to be the best! Great service as well. We will always patronize this location. However, they need to clean the outside of their windows.

Wow, is what comes to mind. This place has earned it’s good reviews. The fries were a little undercooked for my liking. But other than that, you will not be disappointed. Three thumbs up.
