THISTLE FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

The best fish and chips I have had yet, to date! I drove from Mississauga and I would 100% do it again. I'm craving it since I had it from 2 weeks ago; batter was perfect, fish was perfectly cooked. I didn't even need a fork, it flaked apart with my fingers! Portion was great, too. My service was also very friendly :) Already recommended.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Reasonable price. The best was our server who is the daughter of the owners. She was very enthusiastic, smart, and loves the food industry. This restaurant was an unexpected treat.

We had fish and chips, my husband for the first time. He was shocked at how huge the portions are. Amazing quality of fish! Great fries even. Stuffed afterward. And on top of that outstanding service, Shawn was incredible.

I visited this restaurant by chance when I was walking around the area. I was very surprised by this beautiful restaurant. The food is very tasty, the service is great, and the decor is also beautiful and calm. The waitress Susanna was very friendly and smiling all the time. I will definitely come back to this place soon.

Great service and great food. Mainly go there for the fried seafood options. Place surprisingly feels fresh and clean for a restaurant that serves fried fish and chips along with other options that are also fried. Food is not greasy and always fried to perfection. I also tried their hamburgers, and I wasn't disappointed.

Great environment and super friendly staff. Very attentive and accommodating. We split the seafood platter and it was a good amount of food for 2 people. Their scallops were super juicy which was a great surprise. Definitely recommend!

This is a family owned and operated restaurant and it's open 7 days a week. The large dining room is beautifully decorated yet still manages to remain warm and inviting. Susanna and her staff keep the place immaculate and always welcome patrons with a wide smile. Breakfast menu choices are varied and the Lunch time specials are incredible value. Bill (Chef/Owner) really knows and cares about cooking and every meal is made to order. Their Potatoes are always FULLY peeled, not just washed and the skins left on. Their fish Batter is always light and crispy. This couple work incredibly hard and deserve the good reputation they are at last being rewarded with. Having spent over 40 years in the UK we know all about "GOOD FISH & CHIPS". They are the best in Burlington, So Just give them a try & become regulars like us. - T & T Reply

HALIBUT HOUSE FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

I went in just after lunch and had the all day breakfast, which was very nicely done. My wife had the fish and salad and she thought it was very good. The place was well lit and very clean. The staff were attentive and fast. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch, and I'm sure we'll be back.

We had fantastic Halibut and Chips. Susan was so nice and had our order ready right on time while doing 100 other things at once. The fish was moist and flavourful and I couldn't even eat half my chips. Delish.

Staff was knowledgeable and helped in answering some questions concerning the menu. Food was nice, crispy & hot.
