In writing this review, I am wanting to show my sincere gratitude to both my mother and father for their time and dedication to running their family-owned restaurant for the past 19 years in Acton. Having grown-up eating a lot of fish & chips, I can say that the quality of the fish varieties, chips, and batter is second to none. I highly recommend The Towne Friar to anyone and everyone, including locals as well as visitors as we offer a casual dining experience that includes both eat-in and take-out.
I have always have the chicken burger and poutine as I have a fish allergy and it is never a disappointment!! The girlfriend and kids usually get fish with their orders and they are never disappointed as well!
Great place! Our favourite local Fish and Chips place. Never had a problem very friendly and fast service.
