The food truck originated from a passion for Mexican cuisine and the aspiration to grow. Cocodrilo-Tacos and Hot-Dogs also serve regular beef, chicken, and chorizo tacos, along with fresh-cut fries that are golden, crispy, and perfectly fried. Their carnitas are prepared with seasoned pork, fried to perfection, and are delicious with plenty of salsa. You can also try their crunchy corn empanadas stuffed with cheese, potato, or chicken. “Hanc’s Fries has proudly served over 5 million customers and counting. The truck is located 28 minutes from Ajax. Their famous fries are made from locally grown potatoes, peeled and cut fresh every day just for you. It all started in 1971 when they saw a newspaper ad for a chip truck for sale in Lindsay. They decided to give it a shot, taking turns running the truck and peeling potatoes on weekends. Back then, they used just two 50-pound bags of potatoes a day. The Hanc’s Classic Hoagie features roast beef piled high on a ciabatta bun, topped with sautéed onions and green peppers, and served with mozzarella and gravy for dipping. Takeout is also available for your convenience.

2025 Update: Each weekend, they serve more than 3,000 pounds of potatoes. Hanc’s Fries are available in small, medium, large, and family sizes. Gift certificates are also available.”

Great street tacos. Best in Durham. Simple. Full of flavour. Great hot sauces. (Seem fresh made) Out front of the Canadian Tire. Very very crushable tacos. Staff is always nice and happy to serve. Wheelchair accessibility and Curb side on side walk.

The Tacos and Polish Sausage tasted amazing! Love that they use soft corn tortillas, very authentic. Great customer service. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing friendly service. We tried every kind of taco and you cannot go wrong. Simple and delicious.

This food truck was really nice. We got the banquet burger, a hot dog, and small fries which were are really good and filling. Plenty of parking spots and a few benches to enjoy a nice afternoon lunch on.

Honestly the Best Freshly made Burgwr out of a chip truck ever!!. These are truly fresh cut fries...home made gravy...well worth the drive.

Best homemade fries! A definite must try in Bowmanville.

It was my first time at The Sandwich King, and it was really easy going, the person that took my order was polite and patient, and the food was phenomenal.

Worth the wait! The chicken sandwich was massive, great favour and delicious! Had the Briskett which was also absolutely so fresh and filling.
