“2025 Update: Bistro On B have added a touch of smoky goodness to their menu, infusing flavours from the world of barbecues and grills into their French-inspired creations. They have mastered the art of smoking, using the finest quality meats and ingredients to craft dishes that showcase the perfect balance between French sophistication and smoky indulgence. All the meat was really delicious, brisket and pulled pork were very tender, and the burnt ends were very tasty, though a little tough. Bistro On B does Meal Prep, Catering and Takeout options. Feature cut of Bison special: The bison was cooked perfectly medium rare and very tender and tasty. The jus with some of the sour cherry was a great combination that was only enhanced by the thyme butter. The parsnips were a delightful change from mashed potatoes and the shoestring potatoes gave the dish a refreshing crunch. I would not change a thing about the dish or the service. Magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Of our group of 4, three ordered the daily Quiche, while I had the daily pasta. They all reported the quiche was delicious, with quite a few different options for sides, including fresh fruit. My past dish included wild morels and cremini mushrooms with green peas and a very delicious cream sauce. We were all very pleased with our meals.

This place is amazing with probably the best cheese cake that I can ever remember. You will not be disappointed with the results of deserts if you decide to come here. Besides the cheese cake the iced lemon Saskatoon berry refresher was delicious.

BISTRO ON B REVIEWS

A fantastic place to have BBQ with fabulous pork and brisket — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We chose to ate it by hand (even with a little mess, which is totally part of the experience). It’s all about the flavor, the fun, and the down-to-earth vibe. This place captures the true spirit of good BBQ. The burnt end is like Chinese Dongpo pork, rich and melt-in-your-mouth tender, but with smoky twist that takes it to another level. Can’t wait to come back.

The food was amazing! We had pulled pork, apple slaw, burnt ends, Mac and cheese, pulled pork ‘apple pie’ sandwich, and burnt ends. The best was the pulled pork. The burnt ends weren’t my thing with the texture but the flavour was excellent. The place was clean and the bathroom was spotless. It is very small so not a lot of seating and pretty loud. You order at the counter. I will be back to try more of the menu.

Only in Saskatoon for 1 night so am glad I ate here. My colleague and I both loved our dishes! Very tasty and filling. I had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious.

FRENCH TOAST FAMILY RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Went to French Toast with my sister and husband for brunch today. Busy little place but only had to wait about 10 minutes for them to clear a booth. The menu was huge, it was hard to decide what to have. I had the french toast with berries, my sister had the skillet and my husband had the traditional breakfast. Our server, Kaylin was amazing and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Drove by and the name French Toast caught my eye. Wow, what a good experience, excellent food and presentation. I had the Monte Christo French Toast and could only finish half my portion. I’ve never experienced a French Toast like this.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and lunch food. The servings are generous and the prices are reasonable. This is the only place in the city that I've found to use actual Hollandaise sauce! It's our new favorite place for brunch.
