“Dr. Leyla Mangaloglu completed a double major in Biological Sciences and Psychology and was awarded two fellowships before earning her Master's in Health Sciences from the University of Toronto. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from McMaster University and completed her postgraduate residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology there. In 2016, Dr. Mangaloglu was appointed Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH). DR. LEYLA MANGALOGLU - JOSEPH BRANT HOSPITAL REVIEWS

Dr. Mangaloglu is by far the the most easy going down to earth doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and very professional, but she is also extremely easy to speak to and never makes you feel like you are asking too many questions or stupid questions. I just recently delivered my second baby (unfortunately she did not deliver him, she was working the next day) but she has always been caring and easy to speak to during my pregnancies and after. After delivering my first, at my 6 weeks post delivery appointment she noticed I had not healed 100% properly (a small skin flap from an episiotomy) and was very quick to get me into day-surgery. The surgery was quickly and flawlessly. Her staff is always very friendly and prompt to get back to you if you leave a message. You may have to wait a little bit for your appointments, but she is a specialist, and that is expected. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes for an appointment. She was very apologetic. Obviously there was a patient that needed more of her time, which is understandable when you are seeing a specialist. I would recommend Dr. Mangaloglu to anyone in the Burlington area!

Dr. Mangalogu was the on-call doctor who started the induction process with me at JBH in July. She was calm, respectful, and very easy going. Seemed to have good camaraderie with the nurses, which I always think is a good sign. She broke my water the next morning, which I was nervous about, but she was very confident and put me at ease with her relaxed manner. I wouldn't hesitate to see her again!

Dr Mangaloglu is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. She takes the time to really listen to how any concerns are affecting a patient’s life. My surgery could not have gone more smoothly and she provided all necessary support during recovery. Could not thank her and her team enough.

She is an amazing Human being and Dr,I have history of sexual abuse and the pap smear test is a nightmare for me she was very kind and patient with me when I had a panic attack while doing the test hugged and provided support and comfort and also shared her favourite chocolate with me.

I had a career in nursing for many years. Dr. Habiba is one of the best Dr.'s I have ever come across and I was so fortunate to be referred to her.I am so thankful that she was my surgeon.We are so fortunate to have such a kind, efficient , knowledgeable Dr. In our community.

Dr. Habiba is very caring and compassionate and put my mind at ease! Truly one of the nicest Doctors I have ever had! Thank you for taking care of me!

Dr. De Jong was the on-call doctor who delivered my baby in July 2022 at JBH. Her care, action, and experience saved my baby from a potentially life threatening situation in which the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. I did not want to have an episiotomy or use forceps but with her encouragement and reassurance, we went ahead. I never felt pressured to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. She acted fast and with skill and explained what was happening in a way that kept me calm. Thank you Dr. De Jong for making sure my sweet girl arrived safely!!

I have been seeing Dr DeJong for 14 years. She has provided excellent prenatal care and delivered both of my children safely. She continues to follow me for PCOS and has been much more helpful than the endocrinologist. She she sees the whole picture. Like it or not, your health is related to your diet, exercise and personal situation. Sometimes there is a wait to see her in office however, I appreciate that she takes the time to be thorough so will gladly wait while she grants the same to others as needed.

I have heard nothing but good reviews about her, she has years of experience and has proven to be nothing but kind, nurturing and knowledgeable through out my entire experience. Although she was not the one to deliver my child as I had an emergency c section, she was there for me every step of the way through out my pregnancy and post parting journey. She was helpful with my doubts of breastfeeding and always encouraged me I was doing okay. I would have Dr. De Jong deliver all my children in the future.
