“Dr. Karen Splinter earned her medical degree from the University of Ottawa and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial University. Dr. splinter was my OB for both my children. Unfortunately not the OB on call when I went into labour with my first or when I was spontaneously induced for medical reasons. HOWEVER, through out the entire duration of being in her care she was AMAZING. She is caring, compassionate, understanding, reassuring, and personable. She is a extremely friendly and has a great sense of humour. She always answered all my questions and concerns with a solid response and ensured I understood. I will forever recommend her to all my fellow ladies to use her as their OB.

Amazing dr! first Pregnancy for me and when it came down to being induced there was complications and had to get a c section i was very scared and she took the time to relax me and explained everything very well she was very good and even checked on me and baby the next morning after being on shift for 24 hours ! i always felt very comfortable with her if i ever had to choose again i would take her time and time again she is just simply amazing and loves what she does.

Dr Karen is simply amazing. From the first day I spoke with her, I knew I was in good hands. She is funny, kind and very knowledgeable. She and all the ladies in the office were so welcoming. I had a very pleasant experience with them all through my pregnancy till I had my baby in February.

Dr. Hunneault did a great job on my LEEP (approx. 8 years ago) and since then he provided prenatal care and delivery of my now 2 year old son. It was a great experience, we were pleased to have him as part of our journey. We have returned to him for the prenatal care and delivery of our daughter, due in a few weeks. He is clear and concise. I like that he is to the point and does not sugar coat information. He is caring and has good bedside manner. I am very happy to have him as our care provider.

I have just gotten home from having a complete hysterectomy due to having cancer. The first time I met him he explained everything, answers all my questions. Definitely am so happy to have him as my doctor for what I’ve gone thru. Cares for his patience it’s obvious. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.

He is a fantastic Doctor. He’s incredibly kind and takes the time to talk to you about your concerns. He genuinely cares about his patients. He’s always pleasant and goes above and beyond for his patients. I VERY highly recommend him to every woman out there.

Great doctor who listens to his patient and takes the time to go over results. After years of talking to different doctors about my symptoms and having my symptoms minimized, dismissed or ignored, he did what needed to be done and I will be forever grateful to have him on my team. So far, I must say he has been the most upfront and honest in all of the doctors I have seen. I appreciate everything he has done so I can start finding comfort again! Thank you Dr. Provatopoulos! You are an awesome doctor! Wish family physicians and other specialists had a fraction of your knowledge so patients wouldn't suffer for no reason!

Met with Dr Provatopoulas today regarding a very personal and sensitive matter. I had an exceptional experience with him. He was polite right from the start. He listened to my concerns and was very kind and knowledgeable with his responses. During my examination he asked me a few times if I was okay and comfortable. Such a kind person. His Admin is amazing as well. Great experience all around!

He delivered my third baby and ha was very calm and explained everything because my baby was in distress. Nine years after I needed a hysterectomy and I know I wanted Dr. John to do it. I was so nervous again, but he was very professional and compassionate. He is always available to answer any questions while calling his office and his secretary, Sue, is wonderful. I never wait more than 15 minutes for appointements. Thanks Dr. John I appreciate all that you did for me.

Just had my first appointment with him for an IUD removal. I was extremely nervous due to my experience with the insertion (done elsewhere). He was very understanding, comforting and professional. Best experience I’ve had with a doctor in Sudbury in general. - C Reply
