Shoreline Trail provides access to the river - The park is situated in the Wapiti River valley, at an elevation of 520 m (1,710 ft) and has a surface of 0.6 km2 (0.23 sq mi)

Gorgeous place any time of the year. If you're looking for a place to come and spend the day around a campfire, tossing a Frisbee around and letting your dog run free, this is it. Come here in the winter months for a gorgeous place to take your Christmas card photos, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

It is a refuge for migrating waterfowl with a dock for the public to see off onto the lake and public washrooms

I love the walking path around the lake, and the pier where I can watch thousands of geese and the swans. It is a lovely wild area. I wish young people would not through stuff in the water, but I do love the peacefulness of this park.
