Muskoseepi Park is ideal for hiking, running, cycling, and biking enthusiasts. The trail system includes 15 km of asphalt, 5 km of gravel, and 7 km of wilderness paths. The park offers many amenities, including a playground, dog park, arena, skate park, and sports facilities. Muskoseepi Park provides various play areas to entertain children.

2025 Update: The concept for Muskoseepi Park was developed in 1980, when the Government of Alberta announced funding for urban park development in Grande Prairie and other communities through the Heritage Trust Fund. The park features several picturesque ponds and hiking trails, as well as picnic facilities and even a bowling alley.

O'Brien Provincial Park is situated in the Wapiti River valley at an elevation of 520 m. This park is open year-round and is perfect for cross-country hiking. Most of the trails are paved and flat and have maps everywhere. The conservation area preserves local wildlife and the natural landscape. O'Brien Provincial Park is famous for local birders, walkers, cyclists and bikers. The natural landscape comprises wetlands, valleys, forests, and grasslands. O'Brien Provincial Park is an excellent spot to let your dog off the leash when out of the park. Fire pits, walking trails and pit toilets are available here. O'Brien Provincial Park is beautiful for pictures, family events, and a great hiking trail network. There are tons of space for kids to run and have a family function.

2025 Update: Shoreline trail follows along the Wapiti River and then heads back through the trees. Starting in the parking area, a hard surface trail loops just over 1 km. Then, extending off the hard surface trail, a natural surface loop of nearly 3 km continues along the river and back toward the start. O'Brien Provincial Park offers wheelchair accessibility.

2025 Update: Bickell's Pond has a 1.1-mile loop trail. It takes an average of 23 minutes to complete. This trail is great for running and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. This is a natural, semi-natural or planted space set aside for human enjoyment and recreation or the protection of wildlife or natural habitats. Bickell's Pond offers wheelchair accessibility. Bickell's Pond is a kid-friendly trail.
