3 Best Hiking Trails in Longueuil, QC

Beautiful wooded area with trails along farmlands. One drawback is deer hunting in fall, especially on the Longueuil side. From Boucherville the trails are nicer and wooden platforms elevate you in the wet areas. A great variety of wildlife and interpretation panels are present when entering from the Boucherville side. Definitely no dogs allowed from the Boucherville side. I see plenty entering from the dog park on the Longueuil side. From Boucherville you can even manage a stroller although there are a few obstacles such as cement blocks at the entrance and a wooden bridge.

Amazing path in the swamp woods, it's ~3km one way and at the end of the trails there is a dog park. Car can be parked right next to the main entrance. There is, not so obvious, paved road just in between park entrance and first houses on the same street side. Close to the dog park there is another parking lot. Plus there are 3 more entrances/branches from the main path.

Nice walking trail within the city. There is a few paths along the way so you’ll have to remember where you started. Only downside was the parking. We couldn’t find the right parking spot as there is no signs indicating the parking lot.

Great place in the nature just 30 minutes from Montreal. It has 5 lakes, an orchard, a historic mill and dozens of kilometres of trails make this park a true island of nature in an urban environment. We saw 3 deers on our walk, chipmunks and you can do lots of activities, from paddling to canoeing. It’s very relaxing and refreshing. I definitely recommend it for a day outdoors.

What a lovely place to run and get lost. The trails were very different from each other, and all had their unique features. The green line was the most elevation. The blue line had a combination of the yellow and green. The yellow one went around a huge lake. And the purple line was my favorite, because of how challenging it was in terms of the change in surface. I liked the rocks to the sandy more humid part of St Bruno. I would love to come here every day to go run.

It’s easily accessible from downtown Montreal. I saw a deer in the forest and took a video. We went there in. it’s an excellent park in fall season. it’s a casual way to appreciate great views. Several hiking trails you can choose what you want. That would be better if the staff could cut and trim the trees around the lookouts near the lakes.
