"Parc de la Cité is highly recommended, and the streets have an entrance to the park. Another entrance is located at the end of Davis Boulevard. It is located 2.2 km from downtown Longueuil, QC. The park is 960,000 square metres, 10,300,000 square feet in area. This park has an artificial lake 1.1 km, 1200 yards. This park includes a large grass-covered field and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) of trails. A 550 square metres (5,920 sq ft) visitor center provides first aid services, sanitary facilities, as well as a cafe, a free parking lot, and rest areas that are also available. Parc de la Cité features a 1 square kilometre (0.39 sq mi) artificial lake, which serves as a retention basin, which is surrounded by wooded areas.

PARC MICHEL-CHARTRAND REVIEWS

We biked from Montreal here, I love the 'forest' area, you really do feel like you are biking through the woods when in facts it's an urban space, a huge parc with so much to see, deer, marmots, ducks, and so many birds. Proper bathrooms are available right next to an ice-cream vendor, delicious soft serve. Bring your lunch and have a picnic by the water, great place for a stroll or a jog, highly recommend.

Great experience, there are activities like cross-country skiing, ice skating etc. You can rent the equipment’s by providing some valid Canadian ID (even credit,debit cards are accepted as id). Refer images for cost.

The Huge park in the south shore. Plenty of activities available in this park. If you live in Longueuil, you must visit to this park.

PARC DE LA CITÉ REVIEWS

Fantastic park - such a large area and such a beautiful place! There is a main parking lot, as well as a main building with washrooms/changing rooms/and snack bar available. There are multiple paths all around the main water feature, for biking, as well as walking or jogging. Lots of shaded areas as well as many picnic tables and benches available all around the park. There is a large splash pad as well as a little "river" for younger kids to play in. There are also multiple structures for both big and little kids as well as swings that face the water. A park you can come to and spend the entire day in.

One of the most beautiful parks on the South Shore. Easy access with lots of places to park, clean facilities (restrooms), playground for the kiddies, plenty of space to walk and a big lake. Explore and enjoy.

it's great to have a peaceful park with well-equipped playground facitites for children in our area. I am really glad we have such a park that combinens the beauty of nature and enjoyable recreational amenities.

If you want to spend a quiet time next to the water, and also catch the sunset, you need to visit this park. It has a big green area to do picnic, bbq, there are also picnic tables, benches looking to the water. You can also descend to the shore and sit on the rocks or the sand. People go fishing too. There's also free parking. Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed.

We visited this park to take a break from our long drive. We spend about 30-40 minutes here, I could see campfires here. Good trails in the woods. Nice view from here. It is riverside so you can have a beach vibe. So many rocks you can sit on.

Lovely place to spend quality time sitting on the rocks with your loved ones looking at the river,boats, cruise and port.
