STRATHCONA ISLAND PARK REVIEWS
A Beatiful gem in the heart of Medicine hat with walking, biking paved trails along the South Saskatchewan River. Lots of white tailed deer feeding along side the trail and the autumn golds and reflections are spectacular right now. Definitely worth a visit.
Having had a long drive to get to Medicine Hat from Grande Prairie today, this park was a welcomed stop to go for a walk and stretch my legs. A beautiful trail weaving through cottonwood trees with lots of deer and ducks going about their business.
Probably my favourite park in the city. Has everything you need from playground to great walking trails. Even the wild animals are pretty tame.

ECHO DALE REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS
Great place to go out swimming, play volleyball or anything outdoors really. Feel it's the cities get away for almost everyone so most days it is fairly busy but even then super enjoyable. Concession could use some work however. Pricing is crazy and if you go in 30 minutes before close you'll be refused almost all service as "they are closing" not sure if it's a policy and procedures to close that early (which should then be noted and stated to the public) or if it's the fact it's teenagers who don't seem like they even want to work. Otherwise it is a great place to go and hang out and enjoy your time.
Well designed intimate park, that enhances user experience framed by overarching slopes and beautifully manicured lawns. Perfect for picnics and intimate gatherings.
My favorite park in Medicine Hat! The Ajax mine site is really cool. Be careful of rattlesnakes, we saw one as soon as we stepped foot outside the vehicle!

POLICE POINT PARK REVIEWS
This was a great park to go walking in. It is large and has many different trails, not only for walking but also for cross country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. The scenery and vegetation is quite nice, you see wildlife such as deer, rabbits and birds. If you are a tree lover, such as myself, you will thoroughly enjoy the different shaped trees, standing or on the ground. There are many benches throughout the park and along pathways for breaks or just to stop and take it all in, this park also has public washrooms which is always a plus with a long walk and lots of water drinking. I look forward to visiting again next time I am in Medicine Hat!
What a great spot to go! Right on the edge of the city but yet you feel like you're out in the wilderness. Great trails to follow and a nice little visitor centre, but the best part was that we met several deer while walking along the river. What a treat!
There is a shop that exhibits snakes in the park, and you can also buy some souvenirs.
