Bronte Creek Provincial Park is a beautiful, quiet place in Oakville, ON. The park has a fantastic off-leash area right by the entrance, leading you to a beautiful river at the base of a stunning valley. The park has a 1.8-acre outdoor pool. The park is spacious and well-maintained, with ample parking, picnic areas, and restrooms. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing on the park's trails. Bronte Creek Provincial Park has two separate activity areas for day use and camping. The park rangers were very professional and polite. There are many green spaces and lots of space to wander, and the beautiful twenty-mile creek runs through the middle. The trail is primarily used for walking and trail running. Picnic tables, garbage facilities, and heated washrooms are available here. Bronte Creek Provincial Park also provides educational programs for families and school groups.

2025 Update: Bronte Creek Provincial Park has 5 great hiking trails that showcase the natural beauty of the park. It also features a Children’s Farm with live farm animals. The park conducts interpretive programs and hosts seasonal events such as the Maple Syrup Festival in March, Ghost Walks in August, Camper Halloween, and Victorian Christmas in December.

2025 Update: The Parks and Open Space department, in partnership with Halton Region, recently completed the rehabilitation of Lions Valley Park. Visitors will enjoy the new pedestrian bridge over Sixteen Mile Creek, a newly constructed trail system from Fourth Line to the pedestrian bridge, landscaping and an asphalt-paved parking area.

Joshua's Valley Park is a scenic local park for hiking and walking. The park spans 2 kilometres through the center of southeast Oakville, Ontario. This park is also dog-friendly. This park features a 4-mile out-and-back trail. The park has some small creeks and some up-and-down trails. There are lots of little trails within the main trail to explore. This place is a wonderful location to walk or ride your bike. Joshua's Valley Park has many beautiful scenes and is a fantastic place to explore the natural beauty.

2025 Update: The park is very family-friendly and is frequented by many locals of the area participating in a variety of activities from trail running, to mountain biking to hiking.
