“Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts has 2 theatres, an auditorium with 470 seats and a smaller studio theatre with 120 seats. Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts welcomes local, Canadian, and foreign performers worldwide. Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts has hosted up to 260 shows a year. The Performing Arts Theatre is also home to several local-oriented performing arts groups. The Oakville Center was founded to allow Oakville residents to know about themselves and the world around them through dance, music, storytelling, and theatre. OAKVILLE MUSEUM REVIEWS

Worth visiting this museum. We came to Lakeside park and saw this museum. Thought of visiting it as it was very close to Lakeside park. General admission is through donation. Guided tour of museum is available. Our guide Natasha showed us the whole museum, tour was very informative. Other side if the museum can be visited on your own. It has ancient typewriters, sewing machine, telephone et,. My son was amazed to see typewriter. He typed a few words too. This section is great for kids.

Beautiful old structure with heritage value. The house with original furniture and some artifacts. The property is full of history. Beautiful garden with amazing landscape. Very interesting and informative guided tour we had a chance to enjoy at the museum. Also children learned the story about slavery in Canadian history. Highly recommended to visit it with Family.

Fun, neat, and donation paid, I recommend this historic museum for anyone in the area, though be warned it is not wheelchair accessible on the second floor. That aside it's a good little place to learn some history of Oakville, especially black history.

GAIRLOCH GARDENS REVIEWS

I have been taking walks with my children here for 9 years. Beautiful site which features interactive artwork on the grounds, beautiful gardens and an abundance of local wild animals (ducks, geese, frogs and the occasional turtle). Excellent photo opportunities. Might consider my engagement photos here.

A beautiful place for an evening stroll, a photoshoot, or for someone looking for a peaceful place to spend time with friends or family or even read a book during summers.

A little bit of paradise surrounding Oakville Galleries with scenic views, the waterfront & lush gardens. Ideal sidetrack for runners on Lakeshore. Parking very limited & best to avoid peak times.

OAKVILLE CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS REVIEWS

Nice theatre with comfy seating, good acoustics and an adequate sound and light system. Mic levels seemed low at times for the show we attended, but there were quite a few performers. Staff and volunteers are professional and friendly. We liked that they announced not to leave or enter the theatre during a song - just common courtesy! Will go again!

Front row for Classic Albums, Band on the Run, Paul McCartney and Wings. They were outstanding, absolutely brilliant. We would see them again in a heartbeat. Not a bad seat in the house , the sound was loud and clear. All the staff were extremely friendly and pleasant.

Great place to catch some local shows in the town of Oakville - the Oakville Symphony performs here and we have always enjoyed their performances. It's a small theatre perfect for your dose of live entertainment. Would recommend visiting this place when you find a show you'd like to see.
