“Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba is an airy cafe serving traditional Asian cuisine like mazesoba, ramen, donburi, plus tapas and desserts. This spot is in Downtown Vancouver, right under BCIT Downtown Campus on Seymour Street. Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba also serves ramen with broth, rice dishes, and worthy ice cream. Takuma Ishikawa is the Japanese chef of the restaurant. Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba is known for its maze soba (soupless ramen) made in-house with soba noodles, raw egg yolk, chives, minced garlic, pork, ground saba fish, and seaweed flakes. Their famous Japanese-style mixed soba is served with thick, chewy multi-grain noodles and 11 uniquely selected complementary ingredients. They make all soba noodles with multi-grain flour in-house daily. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba has an entire bar facility for the customers.

NAGANO JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

I’ve been going to Nagano since I was 16 and a friend introduced me to the restaurant, the atmosphere has never changed in the 7 years I have been there. The service is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient! The manager Susie is absolutely lovely and is amazing at recommendations! Every time my boyfriend and I come here we always have the freshest seafood, and the most attentive service from the staff members. I couldn’t recommend them more! I always bring all my family members and friends here, it’s a personal favourite!

This sushi restaurant is the best one in Coquitlam! Delicious food, amazing service, Suji and her staff were very friendly and welcoming! Very cozy atmosphere and so much fun! We had the assorted tempura, avo agedashi, unagi roll, bc roll, takoyaki, wakame, yam roll and silk worm roll. The sake that Suji recommended was excellent too! I love Nagano so much! I will come here every time I come to Coquitlam!

I do not do this very rarely that I have to write about an experience at a food joint. I am a very well travelled man and had sushi all over north america. This was hands down the best sushi spot I have ever been too, and Im not exaggerating. Go see for yourselves and prove me wrong..

KOKORO TOKYO MAZESOBA REVIEWS

Japanese noodle without broth, I tried the udon before but never this. Experience was quite good surprisingly. Price is on point considering portion size you can select plus the extra noodles for tradition ramen with broth. However parking around this restaurant is bit tough. You might have to find a parking in nearby neighborhood and walk here. There are many tables and seatings so it’s also a plus. Nice pleasant servers were also a bonus. I would return.

The mazesoba was so flavourful it was delicious! I love that they offer a complimentary bowl of rice upon finishing the noodles so every last bit of sauce is not wasted. I highly recommend this spot with friends or date night, you get a great portion for the price.

A place to enjoy a nicely presented and good tasting ramen and soba. I have ordered and enjoyed many of there various options. I was here when all sizes were the same price. They do have seasonal specials to try.

SHIO JAPANESE KITCHEN REVIEWS

Came here with some friends and ordered a variety of dishes. The fish in the salmon don we ordered tasted very fresh and the salmon meat was very thick and well worth it for the portion received. The oshi sushi here was also very good, I would say it was comparable, maybe even better than Green Leaf (as I think it was less greasy) and I really enjoyed the tempura flakes on the fatty tuna oshi. The calamari was really crunchy and good. The chicken karaage was also very crunchy but a bit dry in my opinion, however the mayonnaise they gave us as sauce helped alleviate that. Overall I had a very taste meal at this place! :)

Delicious food, prompt and friendly service. Decor inside is beautiful and clean washrooms. The takoyaki for appetizer was crispy, all the rolls were fresh, the spicy salmon sashimi could use more spice but it was a large portion. The churros were soft and crispy without being too sweet, would be nice with some ice cream. Was surprised to see them on the menu but it was a nice change for dessert. Cant wait to come back!

What a GREAT place for Japanese food! The food was absolutely delicious, nicely cooked, well presented and very good portions. I loved the atmosphere and I’m wondering why I haven’t been there earlier. I’m definitely going back to try more items from the menu. Thank you for the experience.
