DWARF NO CACHETTE CAFE & GIFT REVIEWS
WOWOW! Excellent ramen noodles, gyoza and karage chicken. Very nice attention taken by the server and the cook in regards to my gluten intolerance. Miso soup based (gf) with pork, rice noodles and a fresh soft boiled egg was prepared instead of the soya sauce infused one. The ramen was delicious. My spouse had the ramen combo 3: shoyu ramen extra spicy with gyoza and karage.
Absolute gem of Winnipeg. Quite a varied menu of Japanese dishes anywhere from ramen, don buri, curry rice, yakisoba and the gamut of appetizers. The food portions were on the more plentiful side. The service was so pleasant and the cute decor really enhanced the experience.
Very cute and cozy Japanese restaurant with delicious menu items. Nice variety of filling meals, and we'd always come home full. Very cute gift shop upstairs! The chicken katsu is very nice and crunchy! Love it 10/10

IZAKAYA EDOKKO REVIEWS
I visited this sushi restaurant and was blown away. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, but the standout dish for me was the tuna nigiri (chu toro) - it was simply amazing (not pictured because I ate it before taking a picture). The potato croquettes were crispy and delicious, with a great balance of flavors. The restaurant itself is small but has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious and authentic sushi.
From the cut of the sashimi and nigiri sushi, it’s apparent that the chef has been trained in a Japanese establishment. The rice in proportion to the fish is spot on. The fatty tuna nigiri will have me coming back for second next time visiting Winnipeg.
Amazing food, friendly server and helpful as I did not know what to order or how much. Trying out Japanese sushi for my first time and she was patient and informative. Food was super fresh and the avocado with the eel was superb!! I highly recommend!!

Cho Ichi Ramen emerges as a prominent and strongly endorsed establishment for authentic Japanese cuisine in Winnipeg, holding a distinguished reputation as a ramen connoisseur nestled in the heart of the city. The restaurant is renowned for its commitment to crafting genuine ramen experiences. This culinary gem takes pride in its foundation of crafting homemade broths and ramen noodles from scratch on a daily basis, creating an authenticity that resonates with the essence of traditional ramen. Their menu boasts an array of classic ramen styles, paired with inventive reinterpretations of this beloved Japanese staple, along with innovative tapas-style dishes, ingeniously woven from the tapestry of other iconic Asian delicacies. Cho Ichi Ramen presents a modern and inviting open-concept layout, making it a dynamic and contemporary ramen haven strategically located along Pembina Highway in Fort Garry. The focal point of their culinary craftsmanship lies in the thin, straight noodles, a hallmark of their expertise. These house-made wheat noodles are designed for a delightful, satisfying bounce that harmonizes perfectly with their broths. Within their culinary spectrum, two main broth options grace the menu, each offering three distinct variations: shoyu, shio, or the rich, velvety essence of miso. Notably, their vegetarian alternative embraces a delicate broth, infused with profound flavors and accompanied by tofu. Among their offerings, the miso ramen particularly shines, adorned with the vibrant sweetness of fresh corn and the nuanced depth of black garlic. The culinary narrative at Cho Ichi Ramen is rich with vegetarian choices, underlining their commitment to providing an inclusive dining experience for all.

Great ramen place to go to with friends and family! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat pork and chicken are easy to chew (I have braces on). Overall a hearty meal! Would definitely come back again!!
