“Dr. Susan Joe graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. After graduation, she moved to Alberta and worked in clinics in St. Albert and Edmonton. “Dr. James Evans completed his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. He helped develop a program to provide affordable safety eyewear to workplaces. Dr. James Evans is a member of both the Canadian and Alberta Optometric Associations and volunteers for the Alberta College of Optometrists. He enjoys all aspects of primary care optometry, including emergency eye care and contact lenses. He currently provides his services at Village Eye Centre. My family, including my parents, brother, his 3 kids and wife,and my husband and son,have been going to Doctor Joe for the past 20+ years. She is knowledgeable; always answers any questions; is personable and pleasant.I have walked in at any time and they have fixed my glasses. I have never been spoken to rudely by anyone in that office. I was shocked to read some of these comments. I have no problem referring Dr. Joe to any of my family or friends.

My fiancé and I are new to the area and both went to Sherwood Parm Eye Centre for routine eye exam. The staff are all polite and super knowledgeable. My eye exam was fast & efficient. My first time there one of the gentlemen up front helped me pick out the perfect glasses. My second time there we didn't have to wait long before someone assisted us. Shout out to Issac for his amazing customer service and making sure I was happy with my new glasses before leaving. I love my new Tom Ford glasses !!

I require yearly Visual Acuities for work purposes and the team at Sherwood Park Eye Center is always friendly and efficient. I will continue choosing them for all of my eye requirements.

The staff and receptionist are very helpful, incredibly nice, and so informative. I felt like I was at home there and Dr Evans is honest, has integrity, and always explains everything in understandable ways. I’ve never been to a place so warm and welcoming. I have always felt beautiful with my glasses for over 10 years. Thank you to all of you, for making my day every-time. Looking forward to another 20 years.

Grateful for over 40 years seeing Dr Evans at Village Eye Centre which operates on a standard of excellence. So appreciate Dr Nelson who provided outstanding care for my husband during his cancer journey. These doctors are champions of care. All the staff are so kind as well.

Dr. Evans answered my multiple questions, completed a thorough exam and explained my vision changes. Front staff were friendly and efficient. Eric gave me a great education on purchasing glasses without pressure. He was honest when a style didn’t suit me. Overall, great experience!

Dr. Alexander FYI Doctors, Sherwood Park, is the vision specialist my wife always relies upon for eye examinations. He is professional, personable and provides a thorough assessment. He is a caring listener. My wife spoke to him regarding my long standing reticence and reluctance to have an eye examination as light sensitivity Is a concern. Dr. Alexander spent the time and reassured my wife the procedures can be performed with that in mind and the necessary time to fully assess would be taken. Timing is everything getting me in as I neglect eye health. Dr. Benoit, a colleague, was able to schedule a complete assessment in very short order. I mentioned to his front end assistant my reservations with eye examinations and her patience was beyond measure. Dr. Benoit demonstrated exceptional professional care as he conducted the examination and explained the intent. I appreciated his empathy and intentional explanation of each step and the need for a baseline examination to monitor annual eye health. I am so relieved to find an optometrist who understands - I am comfortable and now have no reservation with an annual examination. We can now both book appointments at similar times. Wonderful to have such professionals serving at one clinic. Thank you!

Tried out a new optician closer to home, and couldn't be more satisfied with the quality and level of service. Dr. Jason Alexander was very thorough and patient during the eye exam, I felt that my concerns and questions were all addressed in the most pleasant manner.

My first set of replacement lenses were not good. When I returned, the staff treated me with respect and kindness. I was given a complete new examination and the new lenses are so much better. I also purchased reading/computer glasses and they are GREAT.
