I was examined by Dr. Pototschnik recently for chronic bursitis in my elbow and he was great. He is a wonderful doctor and explained everything to me so clearly. Also, a great sense of humor.

Dr P is a gifted and kind man. He was able to put my hip back in like a champ. You can tell he cares to do his very best for whoever he sees. Although how we met was rather unfortunate for me, he was able strike off another type of dislocated off his list of things he’s seen and fixed. I’ll be going to him if i ever have a take two of the accident aha.

Dr patotshnik is a wonderful doctor and excellent surgeon. He is compassionate and caring. And he explains everything well. Great sense of humor.

Dr. Pototschnik is a wonderful, knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. He has replaced both my knees and had done one hip and is doing the second in June. He listens and talks to you on your level. He sees you before surgery I think to just make you feel comfortable and has all your meds. and needs looked after. He had wonderful bedside manner and is good for a chuckle when you go! Dr Guy got me in before Christmas for a full left hip replacement, I appreciate the speed at which he got me in for the procedure! Procedure went well would like to Thank Dr Guy and the Staff at Stratford Hospital for all they did, to get me back on both feet, everyone made my stay more enjoyable gettting me out and home the next day

Dr Guy is the best surgeon, I felt very confident having my Hip Replacement done by him. He is a man of few words, but being a knowledgeable and wonderful surgeon is what was most important to me.

Found him to be an excellent surgeon and very good about how certain pain meds affect me. Had hip replacement and would totally recommend him. Stratford hospital staff were also excellent.

Dr. James Guy, completed open quadricep tendon rupture surgery on my right knee on June to re-attach the four torn tendons to the kneecap to restore normal knee function. Both he and his team were fantastic (included two nurses, and Anesthesiologist Sonny Chang). Collectively, they put my mind at ease from the get go, due to their personable and competent demeanor. They worked collaboratively and effectively as a cohesive unit, which was excellent to witness and experience prior to, during and following this complex surgery. Following the procedure, Dr. Guy clearly explained my prescribed post-surgical regimen of rest, ice, pain-relieving medication and continued immobilization of the knee. Based on my follow-up visit on June, Dr. Guy confirmed that the surgery was successful, the incision was healing nicely, and the swelling had subsided. As such, my metal staples were removed and he informed me that I could commence some passive range of motion, ankle pumps, and knee flexion exercises to activate the quadriceps while immobilized in my weight-bearing brace. I look forward to my next follow-up on July, at which time I can hopefully be given the go head to start my active rehabilitation. In summary, Dr. Guy and his team were excellent, and I highly recommend him/them, without question. - AR Reply
