MUSÉE DU FJORD REVIEWS
It’s great that questions like how the fjord formed and why is the water in the river salty are answered after the visit. The history of the paper pulp and aluminum industry is also very interesting to see. Highly recommend to visit.
Amazing family experience recommended if you are in the area. We love nature and this was such a great opportunity to be outside and explore.
Amazing experience. The tour guide was great and perfectly bilingual. The exhibition was nice and diverse. The introduction video was extraordinary. It's a must at this price.

LA PULPERIE DE CHICOUTIMI/MUSÉE RÉGIONAL REVIEWS
La Pulperie de Chicoutimi is a gem in Canada/Quebec's history. What an amazing story of ingenuity, brutally hard work, risk (physically and financially), justice/injustice (on the part of the efforts of the Catholic Church on behalf of the labor force), technology and "development"! This is a story which should be taught in the public schools of Canada. There is so much to learn here! I would strongly encourage that the indigenous story of short lived effort be included since I felt it was given superficial attention.
Vast and informative Museum just outside of downtown Saguenay. A great place to learn more about the local history. Plenty of photo opportunities. Free parking. There's a fee to enter the museum, but there's plenty to explore without having to go inside. Easily accessible. Make sure to walk down to the bridge on the way in for the classic Instagram shot.
A must stop while in Chicoutimi! Beautiful historical buildings, surroundings, water tower, and views. Love the cho cho train outside the museum. Nice information inside the museum. Little boutique inside the museum and clean washrooms.

Musée De La Défense Aérienne holds the distinction of being North America's sole military museum that opens its operational doors to the public for guided tours of CFB Bagotville's facilities. The Air Defence Museum has curated various extensive exhibitions, among them the permanent showcase "From Airmen to Fighter Pilots." Presently, the museum's reputation extends far beyond the borders of Quebec, acclaimed for its top-tier offerings. The program includes three off-site activities, thereby enhancing diversity. Given the ongoing pandemic context, two out of these three activities can be virtually conducted in a classroom setting. Serving as a custodian for future generations, the museum contributes to a deeper comprehension of the nation's challenges and its contributions to the global pursuit of peace.
