I was impressed with the number of planes, helicopters, cars, and tractors on display here, especially how many we were allowed to climb inside of. It really helped you appreciate the experience the pilots and travelers had when you see for yourself how small some of them are. There is also a fun little movie about a pilot and his dog that I would definitely recommend; it was a tiny bit hokey but we all enjoyed it. You can learn a lot here about forest fires too.

Essar Centre is a great place to watch the Soo Greyhounds hockey team compete in the Ontario Hockey League, an elite development league for the NHL. An open concourse rings the single level of seats, so you can see the game from anywhere in the arena. Concession prices are reasonable, and the fans are very friendly and knowledgeable about the game of hockey.

Great museum with rooms dedicated to a number of subjects as well as a great kids area. Numerous artifacts have been donated and procured to tell the story of the Sault Saint Marie area. Very personable staff and while it is 3 stories it has a large elevator if needed. Very enjoyable experience! Very reasonable entry fees.
