“The Learning Tree began to offer preschool services in 1985 in a small church with 36 children and a staff 6. They provide their services in a nurturing, safe and happy learning environment. Their home-style recipes are all prepared from scratch.

2025 Update: Linda McPherson is the founder of The Learning Tree. The Learning Tree is conveniently located in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, just north of Highway 40 and east of Galeries des Sources. The facilities include a gymnasium, a library, a computer lab, an art studio, and a sensory exploration centre. They are accepting part-time and full-time admissions. They provide photo and video tours. The Learning Tree offers a customized communication app that sends detailed daily progress and status updates on each child’s day directly to parents’ smart devices.”

This daycare is simply amazing! The staff's genuine love and care for our son is evident each and every day. Our son started at 12 months and has thrived here, forming strong bonds with both the children and staff. He is always so eager to get in there for the day! The focus on outdoor activities, experiential learning, and even yoga for babies is fantastic! We couldn't be happier with our experience. Highly recommend!

My child just started in the baby room at The Learning Tree two weeks ago and we couldnt be happier (both baby and parents!). The director was very attentive to all of our questions and concerns prior to starting, and as of the first day, both the director and staff went above and beyond to alleviate our concerns about starting our infant at daycare. The director has a hands on personal touch approach, and we found the center to be extremely organized. The app that the daycare uses to communicate with parents during the day is fantastic, and we love seeing the daily summary. They even have yoga, and music class for infants, and the baby room is super clean. As first time parents, we dont have much of a basis for comparison in terms of daycare quality, but so far we are very pleased :)

My two daughters were in the best of care for their early years at The Learning Tree. The educators are amazing, caring and patient and my girls loved going to “school” there. All the way through Pre-K, we knew how great it was when both daughters entered kindergarten more than prepared for the challenges they face. Most of all you can genuinely feel the love that the staff and educators have for your child. The Learning Tree also has excellent extra curricular activities like Ballet and Hip Hop, music, yoga, and lots of field trips that engage the kids and keep them moving. Go there, see for yourself. It’s a tough decision, sending your little one to daycare, but give the Learning Tree a chance!

I found this daycare very good. Teachers here are very friendly and taking good care of the kids. they work on the overall development of kids. it has all the activities swimming, picnic, study, visits to the library and all events.

I had my son in there 6 years ago I was happy with the daycare now I am going to put my daughter there all the staff is amazing.

The name suits this daycare. My son is cared for and happy and that gives me peace. Thanks to all the hardworking staff especially L&L. You guys ROCK!

My daughter goes to this daycare and it is HANDS DOWN the best day care I have been to! Wonderful staff, great educational program and it is incredibly clean! My daughter loves to go in the morning she actually brings me her shoes to tell me it’s time to go! I absolutely recommend it. They have also great security measures through these uncertain times and they are extremely transparent. Always welcoming and smiling. I trust this daycare and the staff! Lei, lisa and Nathalie you guys are gems! Thank you for everything and for being so caring!

My son loves the teachers, Always has a wonderful day, full of activities. The daycare handled the pandemic with as much care and compassion towards parents as possible given the circumstances and provided safety for staff and the children. The environment is clean and staff kind and informative to what's happening in the daycare. I feel safe knowing my son is in such good hands. 100$ would reccomend.

Teachers are very kind and wonderful. They really care about kids. More than a year my kid have attended and has lots of good memories in daycare. Most important thing to me is that my kid is happy and healthy in the daycare. This daycare never let me down. Whenever we need help or have any questions they always answer to us right away. I want to say thank you to all staffs in this daycare. We will miss you a lot!
