SIMA SUSHI REVIEWS
So glad we ate at this place! You gotta try the love love sushi, it’s so good!! Such good flavors and very unique. It’s torched salmon with a little spicy sauce on top, and the salmon filling inside has a little savoury sweetness flavour. So it was an amazing balance. Haven’t seen those flavors in other sushi restaurants. Everything we had was so good, including the miso soup. Terriyaki sauce was yum, and the vegetables and sushi were all very fresh.
sushi dinner and sashimi dinner are 10/10!!! Just look at those thick cut sashimi, $25 for 18pcs sashimi? You can’t find a better deal in town. Let alone the freshness of those fish. Definitely my go to place for sushi~
The chirashi and deluxe sushi are fantastic. Very well seasoned rice and large pieces of fresh fish. The special torched rolls are delicious! No reservations accepted, but the small restaurant fills up fast!

AKIRA RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Love this place! The food is delicious, beautifully displayed, colorful, and the portions are big. The Bento box is actually a pretty good deal (in my opinion). The rolls are huge and gorgeous.
It's not the best sushi place I've been in my life but after a year in Kingston we haven't found better so far. Good rolls. Fresh food Their noodle soup are good too. Service is good and the waitress is always super gentle with our kid. We ate a few times here and will come back.
Super fresh sushi and Sashimi. The udon was hands-down the best I've had in Kingston. Staff/owners very friendly.

SAPPORO SUSHI REVIEWS
Whether you're a Kingston resident or just passing by, Sapporo Sushi is an absolute must try. I have been to many sushi restaurants in both Kingston and the GTA, and Sapporo remains my top favourite. This is a mom and pop shop run by the sweetest couple. Sapporo Sushi boasts friendly service, very affordable prices, and delicious sushi. I came here regularly when I was a student, and continue to visit whenever I pass by Kingston. Over the course of 7 years, I have never been disappointed by the quality of their food and service. If you have the opportunity to come by, don't hesitate! And ask them about the Queen combo – it's the best! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and training chopsticks available.
Absolutely loved it! It was a mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant and they did NOT disappoint. Always look for the small run places, the care they put into their rolls is top notch! The head chef was incredibly polite and cared very much about his product, both in presentation and taste! The all-you-can-eat is very reasonably priced and there were lots of options. My wife is a very picky vegetarian and she was thoroughly pleased. The chef took the time to make sure her food was separated from mine and he even offered some different options she wouldn't normally try. She loved it all! Would definitely recommend... and with only 4 tables available, it was well worth the wait!
My first time here, coming from Toronto and was the BEST sushi place we could find, Mark & Karen the owners are amazing people (they were the first sushi in Kingston FYI) it’s truly delicious, fulfilling and prices are even better. And we saw this award and let us know they just received and didn’t even know they won anything. I didn’t took photos but we had the Queen plate!
