Great food and presentation, staff were friendly and very quick! The restaurant was clean and comfortable, highly recommend for your AYCE needs. My husband and I have already told our friends to check this place out the next time they’re in Pickering.

An excellent choice for a lunch spot especially on weekends. Hand rolls are amazing here, General Tao and Beef Teriyaki also winner dishes. Spicy Crab Roll Sushi would be my favorite large roll by far. Soup was cold this time around, usually is always served hot, was probably a one off this time around.

Our family enjoys the all you can eat at 1298. We have been coming here for years. We look forward to what we call our SUSHI SUNDAYS!!! Order on the ipad. Quick service and lots of options!!! Definitely a must try :)

Incredible restaurant. Always clean. Food is great. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki on rice and it never disappoints. The spicy mayo sauce really tops everything off. When I get the sushi, it tastes fresh and delicious. Make sure to give thanks to Wendy she is the GOAT.

Great experience with family dinning in. Very chill family restaurant. Nice owners, friendly service. Food was inexpensive in comparison to fancier restaurants. Great experience and will definitely go back with family.

Hidden gem! The staff is very nice and the food was very affordable and good quality. Would definitely go back soon!!

SAKURA SUSHI JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Sakura Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in pickering. The service is great. Salad dressing is amazing. They do not offer all you can eat and it's probably what has kept their quality so high. Each portion is very large. Quite the hidden gem as it's tucked away in the strip mall. Volcano roll and the salmon sashimi dinner is a great combo for two.

Great service and the quality of sushi is amazing! After trying this place we will never set foot in the local all you can eat sushi places. This place makes each piece with care and the owner and server come check on you. Prices are also very good. We ordered a boat of sushi + sushimi. Highly recommend it if your in Durham area.

One of the best sushi places in pickering. Very generous portions and quick service. Friendly people who remember your orders. They are open on Canada Day too.
