“Sun Sushi offers a delightful variety of rolls, including some deluxe and special rolls. The restaurant has an excellent atmosphere with fabulous decor and is more popular with locals. Sun Sushi also serves a great selection of well-executed and exciting Japanese dishes. The staff here are always super friendly and make you want to come back again. They prepare mainly super fresh ingredients with a great selection of sushi and tempura. Takeout and delivery options are available there. They also offer catering services and have a television.

I came here with my family for lunch before our flight back to Toronto. We enjoyed the sushi+sashimi combo and appetizer salads. The owner was really friendly and recommended the asparagus salad even though we were doubtful, which ended up being delicious! We've had our share of sushi in Toronto and we really enjoyed this spot.

New favorite sushi spot in St. John's! I was a frequent customer to every other sushi restaurant until moving to the west end, when we discovered Sushi Maki. The owner / chef is the sweetest man, and the food is top quality. The fact that it's a small space and is usually not busy makes it an ideal location for casual dining. Only place I go to for good sushi now!

I recently dined at Sushi Maki , and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and each dish was beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. I highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover! Try the house roll. You will not be disappointed.

What a cool experience! They have little food trains that bring the food right to your table. You place your order on a tablet and in a few minutes your food comes shooting out from the kitchen. The food was fantastic. It's a little pricier than some other sushi restaurants, but the food is top quality. You're still guided to your table and the waiter checks in to see if you need anything and to take your dirty dishes. Also they have little bowls of ice cream for $1. No complaints, 5 stars well earned.

The sushi is amazing and the staff are friendly, but to be honest I would give it 5/5 stars just because I like the little train that delivers your food. Simply delightful...
